You are choosing TWD beacuse of season 1. TWAU is much better game. I know it.
Better protagonist. Bigby, wolf in NYC, smoker, sarcastic … moredetective, trying to change. Clementine was super in first season. Now she's serious girl unable to show emotions. Undeveloped character. Clem, please take care of adult man, turn off wind turbine, climb and check area.. silly writing.
Other characters. In TWAU they are fascinating - Snow, Bluebeard, Toad, Georgie, Nerissa. In new TWD - Luke? Cute, nice and... that's it. Kenny? Born from the wish. Not mine. Alvin, Carlos? ... Sarah? She had to be Clem's bff but writers didn't care much about her in last ep. Nick is another Ben. Rebecca is trying to be friendly but fails. I don't now much about those people, I don't care about them. That didn't happen during first season.
World. Gloomy and boring woods in TWD. Full of colors and still dark in TWAU.
What is Bigby's goal? Catch the killer, solve the case. Clementine's goal? Find Christa? Wellington? Survive? I don't know.
I don't know... Maybe after s2 or a older Clem DLC or something I guess they should take a break but not stop completely. That would be stupid of them anyway seeing how good TWD games are doing.
I might want to see one more season of The Walking Dead with Clementine grown up but after that, I think they should move on. I wouldnt want it to get stale.
Yes. I wrote that post when I was really frustrated with all the waiting and was just looking for something to blame. I like TWAU, not as much as TWD but it's still a damn good game.
I meant talking animals is generally more for kids stuff, but I was just mad from all the waiting when I wrote this, I like TWAU it's a great game. TWD is still better of course but it's already had a whole season so we'll have to wait and see.
If I was not attached to Clem, I would care less about TWD (I'm particularly fond of the show & I have not read enough of the comic to be invested). I only care about Clem but I don't see myself invested in her for more than one more season. I am loving TWAU and would love a second season. The comics so far have been great. And I'm sure that are many more nursery rhymes, folklore, fairytales and short story fiction to pull more characters from. Unfortunately the setup of the story makes it difficult because TWAU is strictly a prequel, making new characters have to die or disappear. Tough call for me but I want more of TWAU, I'm honestly not as hyped for TWD ep 3 as I was for TWAU ep. 3.
Eh, things would probably be different if TWAU already had a season out and was on it's second season, while TWD was just starting up. Though TWD is definitely the more popular genre, idk. The last few episodes of TWAU looks pretty awesome though.
