Luke?

Where do you think Luke is?
Gah, I just hope he's alright.

Comments

  • I got the feeling that he's a traitor or just left the battlefield

  • Either killed by Kenny, planning a rescue plan, oblivious or cowardly.
All the possibilities are equally radical to me, I would rather not extrapolate.

  • My opinion, I think maybe Luke was coming back from his hike and saw Kenny firing into the lodge and Carver retaliating by killing hostages. Maybe this deterred Luke from doing some open attack and try to plan a more careful way to free everyone without Carver killing people. He obviously couldn't run over and start helping as that would either result in more deaths or his own capture. Maybe now Luke is tailing the group and waiting for an opportunity to help. Unless he is some master manipulator that has faked all his emotions and care for everyone, I doubt he just cut and run. Especially if you still have Nick.

  • I hope Luke is all right. I really want to see more Luke-Clem's brother and sister relationship. Some people saying Luke might be a traitor, sorry I just don't see how, what are they basing that on? I am going to be pissed of if Kenny somehow got Luke killed. I seriously don't want to see that but it might be in the cards. I can see Kenny snapping like Lilly. He has be thro hell, and even thro he has a wife now I don't see him coming back from that (if I pissed of Kenny fans by saying that, I'm sorry).

  • I think some people base the seemingly false idea that Luke is a traitor off of the fact that Carver said something along the lines of "that bastard Luke forced you, guys, to leave me and I am all pissed now boohoo." It might have implied that Luke is manipulative or a closet sociopath or something.

  • Oh so that's what they are basing this on, thanks. I really don't see Luke is a sociopath, I see Carver maybe being a sociopath. I really don't trust Carver, I think he was trying to deceive people, including Clementine. If Luke can't be trust we will find out in due time, till then I am not going to anything Carver says on face value.

  • Yeah, if Luke dies Ill probably cry as hard as I did when we had to kill Lee (or leave him) and I think that Kenny may have knocked him out or something? Because if he would've shot him it would've been heard but it's obvious Luke and Kenny are jealous of each other. I just really hope Luke isn't a walker or something because I couldn't take seeing him as a walker or having to kill him. I really hope Luke is alive and just figuring something out, I feel like Clem and Luke got on too well for him to die already though but you never know. I just hope he's okay.

  • Yeah, Carver might be just a little bit sociopathic. Just a little bit.

You know, remember how he was torturing Kenny in the teaser? That might be because of Luke. I believe Carver would be most interested in capturing the "farm-boy", since he holds a greater, vengeance-thirsty grudge against him. His absence motivates him more than his obsession with Rebecca, since from my experience, hatred is stronger than love.

    What do you think?

  • you can photoshop that easily. I remember on a forum I was looking through that had that had words together like 'laserarm zombie lee' and 'vampire clementine' it could be photoshopped to scare us or pt could stand for pete. I went through my files and never found that.

  • How can you get into the game files?

  • Hate comes to a person when they have loved or known a person well enough if the feelings change a strong dislike begins.

I did see the Carver beating up Kenny yes, but could be about anything. It could be because Kenny was trying escape, Kenny fighting back or even maybe Kenny not agreeing with Carver. Carver seems, at least to me, to be a leader with strong ideas and if people don't do what he says he gets violent. Carver dose say* "...lets remember these guys are our brother and sisters, and they have a important role to play in our community. They strayed from the flock yeah....that don't mean they can own they way back into the fold."* in the trailer. Rebecca seems to be what he is mainly after, he might worry about Luke might come after him. It seems to me that Rebecca and Carlos will be the ones in the most danger. Carver will comment that Carlos killed a friend of his name George. we don't know how this will play in the next episode.

    You're a troll.

  • Yeah I saw that. I caught that, Carver is a strong possibility that is the baby's father.

  • I have feeling he somehow led carver to the cabin survivors and I doubt he's dead.

  • There's another thing. When you are at the ski lodge and you speak with Rebecca, you can ask her how she knows the baby is not Alvin's. She answers that they tried for a long time or something like that, implying Alvin is probably infertile.

  • Looks like I'm the only one who thought Luke and Kenny were going to start getting along...

My bet is, Luke was hiding nearby because Kenny was the only one with a rifle. Whether Luke thought he would start shooting is irrelevant (though my guess is he didn't). When Kenny went to turn himself in, Carver didn't know about Luke being there so he would have no reason to wait for him to come out too. Kenny might even have told Luke not to show himself.

  • I really don't think Kenny killed Luke or anything. yes Kenny changed but that would be totally out of character, on another hand Kenny saying to Luke to "Take a hike" would just be Kenny being himself.

But there's one thing for sure : Luke couldn't have done anything to help the group at that time. He was alone with only a machete for weapon, he would have just been captured with the others, or even killed. This is not being a coward, it's being rational.

And about what Carver said about Luke, remember that Carver is the man who's blaming the group for escaping and now he is taking them "home" against their will. Of course he's not going to congratulate Luke for not being here.
