it's would be nice if that was true but imho / based on facts
telltale have different teams working on future episodes, building stuff … moreahead of time / all the time and then another team or part of them take that work and complete the episode needed/ next in line.
so with that in mind this sudden release means they've caught up from being hard at work during the time between episodes of twd/twau.. simple math really :)
but yeah lets all believe they suddenly pulled it out of their collective asses to please fans...but if that was true why not do that from the beginning ?
ammirght ?
It's great that the episode is coming out this week. Kind of wish it was out on Memorial Day but it's still great. It would be more awesome if it's more than 90 minutes.
Just posted to say thank you Telltale. It's nice that they realised the wait between episodes was a bit long and that they actually listened… more and did something about it. I feel that some of us from this community should also thank them just for putting in the effort of getting their next episode out to us sooner. :)
OMG just think. Not only do we get to play episode four, but we get also trailer at the end of it for episode 5. Many of us were wondering what will happen in Wellington and the season finale.

Use a VPN to get past regional restrictions on your PS3. If your ISP is anything like mine, they're assholes who'll throttle your connection… more if they see you're using a console for online gameplay, so stopping that non sense with a VPN is another added perk. If all you want to do is get out of the regional restrictions so you can download your copy of Episode 4, spend a little while looking for a free VPN or one that'll give you a trial long enough to d/l what you need and nothing more.

So when the Walking Dead S2 EP2 was delayed for Europe, someone mentioned that Sony EU's certification process was 2-3 weeks. We've seen people getting steam achievements since the beginning of may, and it entered Australian classification on the 13th (?) of May. By now, it should've passed through certification for the EU.
I don't believe this is Sony's fault, it was their fault for TWD S2 EP2, but this is a different scenario. You can't just give Sony all the blame, Telltale, some of this must've been your fault. It astounds me that you still haven't learnt, you announce your dates last minute, which is news to everyone, even the companies you're selling through.
I think that Telltale submit all versions to certification on the same day, and since certification on PSN EU takes longer than PSN NA the release is often delayed in Europe. I think both are at fault. PSN EU because their certification process is apparently really slow and Telltale, because despite knowing this they fail to submit the game to PSN EU a few days earlier.

DING level up...
They might do the same as they did for season 1 and not include a preview to keep us guessing what might happen next.
I'm one of the lucky bastards who own it on Steam though.
