never :P
No...
I dont know if you turn anyway you are bitten or not (so like in the tv show) ,but anyway i think things wont become "normal" again
I don't think so. There is always going to be a Rapist/Theif. If people repopulate then they will become walkers eventually
I'm thinking that the walkers will just rot away or do that weird starving thing until they all die out(of course there will still be another walker everytime someone dies, but it will still be a lot less then what was there before.), then there will mostly be just a bunch of bandits, nomadic groups of people and large community's.
The walkers may rot away, but no, I don't think humanity will ever reach the point it was pre-outbreak again, or at least not for a very, very long time.
It also depends on if the walker virus is still spreading after a few centuries. With the virus still around, it could be possible for another outbreak to happen again in the future, and then humanity would be back at square one.
I think maybe there might be people who repopulate and build large communities and I suppose they would have some sort of rule whenever someone passes or when someone is bitten, as far as when they'd have to go. It won't get much better though... the virus will still be active.
Well civilization may not be reborn, we would get rid of overpopulation. All I'm saying, is from an evolutionary standpoint, the zombie apocalypse might be beneficial...

After the main group if walkers decay to a crippling point then I'd say we would see a reemergence of some scope of civilization. Life would never return to how it was before the infection because people will always turn after they die. But I can definitely see new rules and guidelines evolving and a tribal-like system coming about. Perhaps, after using themselves to the stipulations of what comes with death, they could return to and surpass our modern age
As long as Robert is involved, there won't be a cure, and they will keep coming.
i was thinking the same. like maybe after like 7-10 years they will just die out. but as said in one of the comments above, once people repopulate again, they will die and when they died they repopulate the zombies also. so its like a never ending cycle.
We have to find a cure but... How the fuck do you make cure in a goddamn end of the world.
Robert said that he will never write about a cure or any way to stop the walkers, since the story is about the characters and how they deal with the world and not about finding a cure.
I know but I can't see Clem life in this world.
Can't find a clip when Clementine says Thank you.
Well, they could repopulate and once they get a society going again, they can find a way to stop the spread of zombies. If anyone dies of in a burying, their head has to be gone. But there would be burglars and thieves that might go around and kill people, resulting in walkers. Said city/society would have to have really strict security. I don't think it would ever be the same again, but they can try to control the zombie outbreaks as much as possible. Then maybe find a cure in the future, and ba-da-boom!
I had a weird thought. We have technology to detect when a person heart stops (and therefore dead with little chance of restarting) so at birth there could be an implantation of a macro bomb which would sever the spinal cord. Boom, problem solved. (This only applies to after humanity is on its feet again)
If Kirkman's in charge of it it'll just remain an eternal misery simulator. He pretty much stated the idea for TWD is a zombie apocalypse which never ends.
Which is kind of silly. They don't go on forever. Either the zombies eat everything and the human race dies out or humans begin rebuilding what's left after the zombie situation gets sorted.
Even accepting the standard where everyone who dies becomes a walker unless the brain is destroyed, people eventually develop a system to deal with it so they can move on to establishing city-states and regions and have politics and trade and wars and brigandry and such dominate the forefront of their minds.
But, again, Kirkman, so we'll have giant zombie hordes, constant death, roving biker-gang killers, no infrastructure or societal growth, scrounging for supplies and katana battles forever and ever as a somehow inexhaustible trickle of human characters suffer a string of indignities and die around supercoolguy Rick Grimes.
That would require society to build itself back up to that point. Most of our old technology will be broken or unusable. Also, we would have to go down many generations for society to be out and about like "normal." But when it does reach that point, I'm sure they would focus most of their technology on curing/fixing the zombie problem. Although that wouldn't be foolproof, since it would have to be an official birthing in a hospital. Someone could give birth somewhere else (like in the streets, hobos.) and not have the macro bomb in them. And if they die? Zombiiiie.
I said after humanity got back on its feet. So I agree fully. Though I believe after the main horde of walkers died out that it wouldn't take generations and generations to come to a good resolution with the reanimating problem.
Yes, because humans ALWAYS find a way. ALWAYS. After the panic, desperation and desolation dissipate, they will get their heads back on their shoulders and then civilization will reborn. Because, if you think about it, zombies are only predators. They are not human beings anymore. They are pests. Animals. And humans have dealt with animals even before they had what these guys have now. Namely, guns. And a bigger IQ. So they WILL eventually reform civilization. I meant what i said, Clementine...
No the world in The Walking Dead universe is never gonna get better.
Hell, our society today is on our feet, mostly. And there's crime and people with sick minds, with fantasies of bringing the zombies out into the world. So if this world did exist, I can imagine that the crime would be up, and there would be plenty of sickos in solitude enslaving people and creating zombie hordes to send out. Building up society with our cities destroyed and filled with wild-life after years of non-use would cause poverty in those areas. Less place to settle because all of our previously inhabited territory would be overrun by animals(maybe walkers?). Basically, we'd be mostly out in the wilderness or in broken cities. The new found government can't regulate and keep everything under control. Even if humanity got back on its feet, there would be an incredibly high amount of hobos and starvation, leading in death and zombies. So the world would be seperated into a high-up class and a zombie infested lower-class.
And community leaders who are total psychopaths, and the eventual revelation of the immunity of sacred Carl, and mutilation. Lots and lots of character mutilation.
Depends how prioritized people were with zombie prevention. Seems like that would be on the top of the list.
This'll cheer you up
Even if survivors were even able to kill off all the zombies, there'd still be people who will want to kill. So eventually when walkers die out or when there's not that many (long time) there's still bandits and psychopaths out there.
Yes. Eventually all remaining humans will go into hiding and be able to survive for 10 years and the Lurkers will eventually exhaust their food supply. Leaving them to drastic matters and turn on each other or just starve to death leaving a few stragglers which can be handled easy.
If people could work together and not always fight then yes, they could eventually overcome the walkers or at least be able to hold them back which in the comics is not much of a problem for them since they have been at it for so long, people are the problem, and while everyone is infected they could watch over everyone,if you are dying from an infection someone would be ready to put you down and well you get it I'm sure.
I think the outbreak has set humanity back thousands of years, maybe less considering the fact that humans won't have to build society from scratch again, they just have to build most of it again. Compare society to a shipwreck: the remains are there, but they don't function. So what makes it impossible to rebuild the world. It'll probably take centuries, true, but it can be done. Now compare society to the plague. It nearly wiped out Europe. Now say humanity survives until most walkers have rotted without any major losses. Why can't the same thing be done.
"Humans have been fighting plagues from he beginning. We get our behinds kicked for awhile, then we bounce back"- Hershel Greene R.I.P
Yeah. I'm not sure when, but one day, things are gotta get back to normal.
Cute!!!
Is that not what Lee said
Well, I believe in a possibility of it getting better. If the remnants of the government find a way to get rid of the infection inside living humans, than there's definitely a chance.
Lee believed.
I BELIEVE
Yeah, after some years the human immune system will mutate against the infection and people will stop turning.
You know that the goverment is no more
Thanks Clem
Bullshit. There is always a form of government, such as Carver's group (which is most likely a Totalitarian-Dictatorship based on military might), even when you're alone, you could consider yourself a government (it'd probably be considered a monarchy . Where did it say that the government has officially been destroyed? It didn't say that anywhere, people just assume.
Hell yeah! Gotta love evolution!
I didn't see it that way
