Or, if you want a (well, only slightly ) more grounded theory, AJ is Clem's father. Years down the line, AJ becomes an expert in science and builds a time machine. He uses it to go back in time to save Kenny. This goes with each season 2 ending because, even if you kill Kenny or stay in Wellington (especially if you stay in Wellington) Clem will still tell AJ stories about the people that kept them safe over the years. Well, AJ overshoots his destination and winds up going too far back in time. With no way to get back (his time machine using up all its energy going back so many years) AJ ends up changing his name (was it Ed? I forget) and has a daughter. He names her Clementine in honor of the person that kept him safe over the years, never knowing that this indeed is the girl that would keep him safe over the years.

Duck is actually a genius that does things just to watch people suffer. The tractor...he knew how to start it..and knew the noise would bri… moreng walkers. The Dairy...he knew it was people...just did not care. Getting bit...nope he just made cuts look like a bite...totally ducked up his parents...had loaded the pistol with blanks. Followed the train to Savannah...loosened the balcony so that Ben would fall ...locked the gate to the jewelry store hoping to get Clementine killed.
Followed Omid and Christa and Clem....helped the bandits find Christa...told Carver they were at the lodge....pre cracked the ice on the lake.
