Scariest moment?
What's been the scariest moment(s) to you in the games so far?
For me, it had to be this part in 400 Days.

mine was all the campmans shawdow appearances in ep 4
The walker in the shed, that grabs Clem.
I've never been able to see that part of 400 Days because I can never win rock paper scissors...
When Carley got shot. Surprised the hell out of me.
walker in the car by the train in episode 3 that jumpscare made me shit my pants lol :P
I agree! I wasn't really scared in Wyatt's story. But the atmosphere was really, really great and spooky, especially if you decide to go check the body yourself.
Other moments where I thought the atmosphere was spot on: Scouting the bandit camp with Danny, wondering through the halls of Crawford, the part where Bonnie is hiding from Roman, and there's of course the jumpscare back in S1, ep 3, the walker trapped in the car.
I'll admit it, that one made me jump. XD
I actually thought Wyatt's story was creepier if you get out of the car rather than Eddie.
What really scared me was when you first see the herd, or to be more accurate when you first hear it.
But that dam jump scare walker in the car by the train. Even now I know it's there, that thing still gets me every time. Jerk
Campman's silhouette scared the shit out of me in episode 4.
Not the scariest, imo, but still. I think skooth's is a bit creepier.
Well if you're going for a specific outcome by itself, I'm pretty sure refusing to play convinces Eddie to leave. Not sure, but I think that's the case.
As far as jump scares... this one was the scariest. The little jump scare in the shed (S2E1) was so expected to me. Not too many other jump scares besides that.
How about the other jump scare in the shed in S1E4 when Lee went to look for the video tapes? :P
Danny St.John's gun to the face in s1e2
Ah, that one made me jump too. Can't tell which one was scarier though...
Y'know, I think the conversation with the Stranger needs a mention here too. The eerily quiet atmosphere gave the whole scene a slightly unsettling feel the first time around.
When Lee and Molly turn the corner in the school and Ben comes out of nowhere s1e4
obviously when the stranger stands at the gate in episode 4..

That scared the fuck out of me!
THE FUCKING STRANGER STALKING LEE IN EP4, I ALMOST PUNCHED MY SCREEN!!!
That surprised me so much, that I hit the keyboard so hard it closed the game.
I feel ya.
JUICE BOX IS RIGHT, fucking jumpscare almost made me punch through my screen.
It felt so good when Lee chocked him.. I HATE THAT FUCKER.
in ep 4, when you go to the auto shop for the second time, enter the shack this time there was a walker inside, most scary for me.
One of the scariest moments for me was when Clementine went missing, i was really worried until it turned out she was hiding in the boat shed. When she disappeared the second time i was scared that the stranger might hurt her.
Well I was going to sleep and than in EP 4 I got atacked in a shed so I didn't sleep.
Jolene appearing out of nowhere at the camp.
Zombie Clem
The fucking mop: JESUS! Indeed.
Hiding from Nate in the ditch and finding Carley.
Failed a QTE in Season 2 and saw a walker rip Clementine's guts out...excuse me while I go barf now.
As far as the "jump" factor is concerned, Becca scaring Shel in 400 Days. That, and the walker trapped in the seatbelt at the trainwreck. Lee is casually climbing down the ladder, no big deal.... NOPE THERES A HARMLESS WALKER!!!
But as far as actual terror goes.... I would saying its a toss up between finding Mark legless and then confronting the St. John's and in S2 starting to realize that the guy we killed was in Walt and Kenny's group.... I had caught on to both secrets early on, so the slow-burn tension reallllly racked my nerves and got me shaking in fear at parts... Damn I love this game.
When black pregnant woman entered the bathroom. I closed my eyes.
When Becca jumped out at Shel in 400 Days. That made me jump out of my seat.

Then the TV falls on his head.
That scene is full of surprises.
Same here, I was scared shitless.
TOO many to pick just one in my opinion. lol
Yeah I felt REALLY nervous for a long time after finding out the guy Nick shot was in Kenny's group. And for Mark, that was just sad cuz I genuinely liked the guy.
Yeah. That was a scary moment I agree.
Honestly, I barely get scared. But in Episode 4 with the Stranger's appearance was creepy.
