Scariest moment?

  • I agree with you, skoothz. The scariest part for me was when Nate's truck appears when Wyatt turns on the light. It took a couple playthroughs to not jump when that happens. Still my favorite story in 400 Days, though.

Runner up goes to what TWDFan86 mentioned, when the stranger appeared. I totally forgot about that when I was replaying season one the other day and it scared the crap out of me.

Yeah poor Mark, I didn't notice this for the longest time but when he finally crawls into the dining room begging for help, he literally just plops over and dies in front of everyone. God damn it.

And in regards to the Matthew situation, I truly felt like the episode was leading up to Kenny and Walter accosting the cabin group and forcing Clem to pick a side. I was certain I was going to have to betray at least somebody, so I was pleasantly surprised when the groups sort of united against Carver at the end.

Yeah I felt REALLY nervous for a long time after finding out the guy Nick shot was in Kenny's group. And for Mark, that was just sad cuz I genuinely liked the guy.

  • When we/Lee lost Clem in S1E4, I was scared/worried but the worst jump scare was definitely the stranger's shadow in the same episode.

  • Really? I've never been able to lose...

I've never been able to see that part of 400 Days because I can never win rock paper scissors...

  • I got a little scared in episode 4 in the first season, one where you get your leg stuck in the stairs and the walkers are coming [I remember failing to do this the first time fast enough and they munched on Lee's leg.] The other was in the alleyway after meeting Molly and rushing to get into the sewers.

But yeah like mentioned by someone else, the stranger appearing at the fence was the jump scare that made the heart burst out of my chest o__o

  • In all honesty, I didn't know that was Mathew on the bridge until Luke told Clem

As far as the "jump" factor is concerned, Becca scaring Shel in 400 Days. That, and the walker trapped in the seatbelt at the trainwreck.

  • Finding Mark without legs will always disturb me. It wasn't necessarily shocking for me; I knew something was very off, and it probably involved Mark, but I never suspected cannibalism. I didn't expect him to be still alive either. It was the moment where I started piecing things all together. And that was disturbing. The fact that it happened right under their noses is scary too.

That part in 400 Days was definitely terrifying though.

  • Thats the beauty of the Telltale games though, perception. Some people realized the twist early on and were biting their nails while at the ski lodge, and others like yourself were probably completely surprised and terrified at the same time. TTG tailors to both experiences, gotta love it.

  • honestly, one moment that i think people overlook is when kenny and lee are on river street and molly is by the register and you have to creep up on her, only for her to duck down, and come behind you

I have to say when Lee was dreaming of Clem turning into a walker,I really was not expecting that to happen right then.
