will there be a short moment where Clem gets to relive being a child again? [trailer spoilers]

So i noticed there's a comic book store at Carver's Camp. You can see it's doors closed here

but then you see it's doors open here

I'm guessing while Clem is working around she decides to walk into the comic store but then Troy catches her not doing her job. If this actually happens then i really hope we get to see Clem reading some books for a while and at least smiling a little bit.

ALSO, the store is called "Victor's Comics". Victor is the guy who you can give or refuse water at the river in episode 1. Hopefully they are the same person and this reveals more about their story and why they were running away.

  • i agree with the idea of Clem reading comics. just because she's a hardened survivor doesn't mean she can't be a kid.

Would be nice to see. Clem has been understandably cold as ice so far this season, so I tend to value any scene that reminds us she's still an 11 year old girl.

Though, I wonder if she was a comic kid. She seemed to like more imaginative stuff the most, so maybe. She didn't really care about any of the kids' stuff she found in that box in episode 1.
  • Distractions from the main plot? How dare you. These kinds of scenes are unnecessary and not relevant to the story as a whole. This tells us nothing about Clem. Besides, where to fit them in such a perfectly tight 90 minute episode? This is nuts. /venomous sarcasm.

That would be cute as hell. And yes, I think it's important to show that Clem is our protagonist, a hardened survivor, and yet still a kid in a grown-ups world filled with shambling corpses. The circumstances are hardly going to be ideal next episode, but let her smile a little.
  • i remember when undead randy interviewed Melissa Hutchinson in a podcast who was pretending to be Clementine. Undead randy asked Clem what do you missed the most before the zombie apocalypse. Clem responded by saying "i missed being in my tree house reading comic books."

if you had never listened to the interview here is the link http://undeadrandy.com/podcasts/

I'm not fully sure if its canon b/c Clem said she hated her tree house

This is why we need at least a 2 to 2,5 hour episode just like in S1

  • Almost took you seriously for a minute there with that first paragraph.

  • Carver and Troy will not allow Clem to have a good time as they only want Clem as a slave
  • Nice find :) That would be great to see.
