What did you guys do? Personally i chopped her arm off but when it went in slow mo i knew we would have to chose but i thought the choice would be to kill the walker and save Sarita or to kill Sarita so she didn't turn or suffer anymore, forgot that the arm was an option xD

    I cut it off too. What's funny is that it was one of those decisions that make total sense in the moment but afterwards you feel like a complete monster.

    Clementine has become a barbarian.

    I sliced it. I was prepared to cut it off as soon as I saw her hand in the thing's mouth. That part, though, when she grabs the stump of her arm and stares at it? Dear lord, that was traumatic.

    No kidding, man. Third Episodes have not been kind to Kenny at all throughout this series. I dread the possibilities of him making it to a third SEASON at the rate the number three has treated him.

    The problem is that the group's medic is gone now and losing all that blood and her screaming/crying with a group of walkers all around her...I'm pretty sure she will die anyways, the choice was just to see how you would deal with that situation.
    MAYBE.
    She could live, but thinking about it...sounds like the chance is low.

    I cut it off. Just killing the zombie would have condemned her to a grave. By cutting her arm away, it has given her a chance of survival, no matter how small.

    Amputate the arm - yes, that's the 1st thought, but with that axe? Or does Clem has something sterile on her? Plus i doubt that a lil' girl can cut through bone... she'll need multiple tries.... with dead around.... so my Question is...

    Will Sarita live if Clem chop bitten arm? 'cause in my logic it can't be.... but in game logic?

    Actually its been said to believe that the virus is spread through the saliva of walkers, so I doubt the blood had much to do with it.

    Game is based on the comics and the comics gave shown that even a small wound with a much covered weapon will cause someone to turn.

    Ahh, I totally agree! As soon as I saw the walker biting her I was like "I'M GONNA CUT THAT HAND OFF AND SAVE HER" but then when Sarita starting screaming like that, I realized "Oh shit, I just hacked this lady's hand off."

    The way she stared at it and screamed...wow...

    ...I'm scared of what she, Kenny and everyone else might think of me/Clem after that. I felt like a monster. That was just horrible.

    Cut it off without hesitation, nor do I regret it, nor do I feel bad about it. Sarita's scream was a bit troubling, but it was the best thing to do. Either she gets it cut off later and has a higher chance of contracting the virus, or she gets it cut off immediately with a much smaller chance of turning.

    I chose to kill the walker instead.... It just seemed logical, but I don't think she was going to live regardless what you chose.

    If you cut her arm off, you can see it causes massive bleeding and she'll bleed out in less than 5 mins without some kind of tourniquet to control bleeding... and the scream. She just made herself walker bait. To boot, you have zero time to dress the wound and get the hell out of there. Also, infection would be highly likely, maybe not just zombie infection from all the blood on the axe, but even other types of infections from the environment from lack of sanitation, but either way, she's screwed. Shame too, I liked her as a character. :(

    When there was the slow-motion and we could see the walker bite her I just knew we'd have the choice between her arm and the walker. I cut off her arm, didn't want to take any chances (like Pete, it looked like he'd cut off his leg pretty fast but in the end he didn't do anything).

    That being said, now that I look back on it it maybe wasn't the best solution, cutting off a limb like that, with Carlos dead and still a few miles to travel without being able to bandage it up (walkers everywhere).... Maybe the blood loss will do her in.

    Aaaah, maybe I got too caught up in the heat of the moment. I love this game.

    Looks like I'm the only who didn't cut it off... Didn't want to do it right there in the middle of everything and have her bleed out.

    I cut her arm off. I figured it worked for Reggie and I'd need to act quickly, otherwise the virus would spread by the time we got out of the thick of things and she'd definitely be screwed.

    I cut it off. That could probably save her... If she escape after screaming and got all surrounding walkers to her.

    If I kill the walker and wait, I thought I would be making a mistake... Uncle Pete and Lee both show me that "waiting isn't good when you're dealing with a walker bite". So I prefer to cut her arm off and deal with everything that came up after that

    I cut her arm off too, but mainly on impulse especially after Reggie confirmed you can survive a bite that way....Until I realized "Crap I never considered the possibility that it would be worthy of screaming pain and she would bleed out anyway."

    Still it was a GREAT way for the episode to end for me.

    Does anyone else find it odd that Sarita stays conscious long enough to scream, but if Lee cuts off his arm, he passes out almost immediately.

    Nope. You don't pass out when you're amputated.

    Lee is already 'sick' since the virus is in his bloodstream.
