Carlos Appreciation Thread
Carlos was an amazing character in my opinion. I didn't like him at first but now I look back and I really like him. He makes me laugh because of his accent (hey blame Nick for making me realize how strong his accent was!). And whenever someone says CEASE TO FUNCTION in a comment, i laugh so hard. Carlos was so caring and loving for his daughter and was in the most emotional scene in season 2 so far. So for you Carlos, I have made a short poem. Carlos, at first you didn't seem cool, I thought you were a complete fool, but you grew on me like hair, after I realized how much you care, you saved Clem, no matter her behavior, you are the true Spanish Savior, You patched Kenny up when he was down, you made Clem get rid of her frown, I know you felt bad slapping your daughter, but its okay she still loves her father, when you were around I had so much fun, its sad you died by Tavia's gun, You remind me of Lee, so brave, I hope you rest in piece in your grave, with Sarah you did your best, sleep now Carlos, let Clementine handle the rest.

On a serious note, I thought he was cool enough. He was a loving father who has a misguided way to protect Sarah. He was brave when he fought the walkers and defiantly spat at Carver and refused to give out Rebecca's location even though he risked getting killed. He really didn't deserved to get shot in the neck and devoured by walkers in front of Sarah.
Rest in peace, Carlos
Loved his voice and... and... god its so wrong how people die left and right here... :(
He was definitely one of the better members of the group, even if he made some bad decisions. I hope without his coddling Sarah can finally grow up to not be such an utter moron.
I seriously can't stop asking myself:
Was it an accident, or on purpose?
I know it was dark and walkers were all over the place, and it probably was just a stray bullet.
But then, on the other hand, Carlos' shirt was pretty unique...and maybe Carver's group just wanted to kill their doctor.
And yes, they probably didn't know the prisoners were down there, but maybe they did.
Doesn't matter, whoever shot Carlos, by accident or on purpose, 400 Days or not, will DIE Troy like when I get the chance!
On another note, dont think his accent was funny at all, was just an accent. Sorry but had to say this, since i too have an accent when speaking english.
Seriously though, Carlos really grew on me in Episode 2, and continued to do so in Episode 3. I wanted him to live so badly, but his death wasn't all that surprising. As soon as I saw Tavia and the others on the roof, I knew that someone was taking a bullet. Talk about one hell of a death. He gets shot, then eaten in front of his daughter. I feel sorry for both of them. RIP Carlos.
Carlos, at first you didn't seem cool, I thought you were a complete fool...
You could instead do:
Carlos, at first you didn't seem cool,
I thought you were a complete fool...
It makes all the difference. But other than that, I really enjoyed it :)
I don't want to be heartless but his death will at least add more screen time for other characters such as Nick, luke and hopefully other 400 day characters. We already have so many characters in this season and Telltale needs to add more story arcs to each of them in the next episode.
