Did anyone else have the brief thought that...

...Sarah was going to kill herself or something when she was standing on the edge of the building outside the greenhouse?

It actually crossed my mind for a second. I wanted to go grab her. D:

  • i think clem thought that also. the way clem was walking to her slowly and the way she was talking to her. im pretty sure clem knew..

and i did think that also.
  • Yeah I felt that way too. Thankfully Reggie did something not annoying for two seconds to help out
  • Die?

  • Yeah I thought that too :(
  • I didn't think she was going to jump, probably just wanted to subconsciously put as much distance between herself and Carver as possible.

Generally people who are suicidal, and are committed to that decision, are at their lowest point. Being slapped by her father doesn't quite meet that low point personally. Now with her father dead she just may now be at that point where her life doesn't matter to her. Carlos was Sarah's entire world and without him anything is possible. If Sarah is found it may be up to Clementine to make her realize that she does have a friend and she can move on. Remember Clem has had her world shattered not once, but twice, and she still finds the strength to push forward.
  • Not all can be as strong as our girl... but guess it falls to us to try to make her that way.

  • Yeah, she did definitely seem pretty nervous as she approached her.

  • Yeah, I know that. Firsthand actually. I just tend to get naturally apprehensive whenever I see someone who was already in a bit of a state standing next to a drop.

  • Yeah, I'm really scared for her now that her dad is gone. Damn, see I'd been worried about NICK offing himself, but now I'm more concerned for Sarah.
  • Teenage girls are the among the highest group to attempt suicide however many fail at it. I think Sarah is a bit too positive to be like that though

  • Pewdiepie's fan here.
  • That's what I can hope for too, but there are too many unknowns at this point to speculate much further. Although I can envision a sub-plot of Sarah wanting to commit suicide and the results may teeter based how well Clem has treated Sarah.

Actually, I was more scared when she was holding the shears in her hand. She just kept starring at them. I thought she was gonna kill Reggie then herself.
  • Oh god. That made me think back to the headshot/suicide gesture she can do in episode 2 if you stay silent. Please don't be foreshadowing...

  • Honestly, yes. I wanted the option to sneak up from behind and hug her.
  • ...oh shit.

  • Sarah reminds me of Beth from the TV show without the coping skills. Hopefully Clem will get to her before something else, or herself, does.

Well now that Carlos has died, she might be suicidal. Especially how Clem taught her how to use a gun....lets just hope she doesn't have one...
  • From what we can see in episode 4 preview it looks like we might have to make a 'executive' decision in Sarah's fate. She isn't much use to the group and never seems to shut that fuckin' trap. I know she just seen her dad get eaten but If she'd just shut up for five fuckin' seconds walkers wouldn't of been on top of us and Sarita would be fine. I know it sounds harsh blaming this on a kid but It's just the way I feel, even when Carver is talking you tell her to shut up and she keeps yapping.
Whatever happens to her she is unstable now. Her father is gone and it appears she is going to 'cease to function' before long.
  • She will "cease to function"
