So, where is this all headed? / A few thoughts about Season 2

edited May 2014 in The Walking Dead
Here's the deal:

We are awaiting Episode 4 of the second Season of The Walking Dead. The buildup to the "grand finale", if you will, is ahead of us. And with names such as "amidst the ruins" and "No going back", we surely cannot expect a dandy happy ending. Especially if you think about TTG's cruel, but realistic, way of storytelling...

Where do you guys think will we find ourselves after Episode 4, how do you think, this Season will end?
To be honest, Season 1 left me emotionally scarred. I have never experienced anything like this before. I grew emotionally attached to Lee and Clem. And the ending just broke me. It seriously broke me.

I, for one, would wish for a happy ending. But at the same time I am sure that this is not an option.
Things will never revert back to the way they were, the Zombie apocalypse does not just... stop.
Eventually everyone will die, one way or another. Kenny, Clementine, everyone.

And I am not sure, if and how I can cope with that.

What do you think? What will Episodes 4 and 5 bring?

Comments

  • I can honestly imagine season 2 ending with something horrible, and season 3 picking up with an older Clem. But as for episode 5's ending... maybe wellington? I'm not sure
  • I am still really hoping to find Wellington and have it be a good community at the end of episode 5 but the chances of thst are slim,I just want a happy ending this time around as opposed to Season 1.

Sarah has been bit while escaping the herd

Clem after she finds her realises this and takes her into the forest to talk

Just look at the flowers sarah BANG!
  • I think there will be a cliffhanger making us wait for a season3
  • I imagine Clem will be involved in more instances such as that of witnessing Carver's death. Instances that will irrevocably change her and bring out a more 'darker' side in her. Hence the 'no going back'. I always played Clem as having strong morals, but by the end of the season I see her start seeing the grey shades in her situation more than ever.
  • I think they will reach Wellington at the end of season 2. And season 3 will take place in Wellington long time after S2 ended.
  • There better not be! :D

The group arrives at Wellington, tired and exhausted, they keep walking and they see a massive mob.of walkers and no one is alive. Kenny ( I'll just use him) falls to the ground and yells FUCK, FUCK FUCK FUUCCCKK!!! As clem looks in horror at the ruins of Wellington then the screen cuts black ,making us wait...

  • We will def. see wellington I think, remember the slide for the last episode.
  • They better wrap things up, that is all I'm asking. None of this cliffhanger bs. Though, a happy ending eons be lovely but of course that ain't ganna happen D:
  • Dunno. We may have the biggest Thing behind us with Carver. Then again in Season 1 we had 2 pretty Big Episodes. Lets hope there's a weird Cult at the Museum/Ruins what some People are speculating about.
  • I think we should definitely see Wellington and I feel like there should be one or two major decisions that would determine Clementines sanity, like the one witnessing Carver's death.
