The most useful character

I haven't been here long but I've been around the forum a little
Anyway, I've seen that we have most useless character thread and I'd like to know who your guys most useful character would be.
In my opinion it is Doug. He's got a lot of great ideas stored away in his noggin. I'm sure if he was given more time he would come up with some great ideas like mini wind turbines for electricity and rain catchers? That alarm system alone was just great ^_^
So what do you guys think?

duck. he thought i was totally awesome.

or maybe clem, i mean, "why is it always me."
  • Clementine for giving Lee a purpose and then becoming the heroine.

    0/10 originality points
  • Christa. Smart, observant, assertive, good with a gun, knows how to tend a fire, knows how to stitch together wounds, caught a goddamn weasel. Still cares about others to some extent. If I had to pick any person in the Walking Dead to survive with it'd be her.
  • lee, clem other than playable characters walter, christa, luke, kenny and many others but i need sleep ;)

    Ben.
  • Definitely Doug. Keeping watch in Episode 1. Making alarm system in Episode 2. Working on the wall, and even some lines on how he wished he could help out more.
  • Kenny because he does all the hard stuff no one else wants to do.
  • Glad to see that I'm not the only one that shares Doug love.

  • Travis, his dad was special forces.
  • GLENN, SUPPLIES BITCHAAAAASSSSSSSS!
  • The fact that she kept Clementine alive for about 2 years (while dealing with the loss of Omid and the baby) shows that she is one of the most capable survivors. I really do hope we find out what happened to her, whether she's alive or not.

  • Yeah, I like her character and how much she's changed. She was always a strong character but now shes much more fit for this world. The tough love with Clem is what has helped her get this far, she's a good guardian.

  • Maybelle the cow.
  • Can't disagree there. Kenny's a really useful guy to have around and would never go back on you if your on his good side. He's a hands on guy and has made some pretty tough choices, very helpful member to have :D

Kenny because he does all the hard stuff no one else wants to do.

Gotta go with Doug. He saved Duck and Lee's life when Andy was holding Duck hostage by using a laser pointer. A LASER POINTER.

And that's beside that fact that he's resourceful as hell.
  • The only thing I could count Ben useful for is bringing humor with his constant screw ups. If you see something useful in him who am I to judge ...

    Ben.

  • Well Milk is a very high source of vitamins! Right???
And you can't make cheese without milk!
You got a good point there, bub.

  • SO much Doug love. Many of the 23% reside here?
But yeah, Doug is real handy. Even if most of the technology doesn't work anymore he can still whip up all kinds of useful kit for the group to use. Not to mention his mechanical skills. The guy can fix an RV engine and knows how to drive trains?! What can't this guy do?

  • The only reason Doug died was because he was too good.
  • Just like Reggie and Walter :/
    Everyone who has their humanity intact dies in TWD. Damn it Doug why did you have to play hero? ;__;

  • He was useful when saving Lee after Lee jumped from the tower in S1E5 Ben caught him and Lee didn't die.

  • Ah yeah. He was useful! That one time ... But at least he did, well, something.

  • I agree, we most definitely will. They won't just let us off with no closure.

  • No, he was just overpowered and they couldn't nerf him. Useful, funny, nice, cool, and HE'S A REAL GUY. How can you compare to that?

If you don't shoot any bullets in the hallway, you get your gun with five bullets.
You can then give it to Kenny, or keep it and when you choke the Stranger to death you have the option of shooting him so he doesn't reanimate.

Ah yeah. He was useful! That one time ... But at least he did, well, something.

  • Really?

Lee, ( even though he's a playable character).
He's intelligent, he's resourceful, he's calm and reasonable, he's tactful, and he's got good brawling skills.

    Kenny.
He's smart, he's good with his hands, he's a crack shot, he's tough; both physically and mentally, he's tenacious and eternally optimistic.
  • Well it's not Ben.

    I choose Clementine.
