Possible Theory about Pizza and Ice Cream choice in S2E5

I had this thought a while ago, this Pizza/Ice Cream choice that Stauffer hinted us is maybe S2E5's final choice, maybe the group finds an helicopter (or any vehicle to escape) and Clem has to decide if to leave and go somewhere else (Pizza), or stay in those cold lands where zombies seem to be weakened (Ice Cream).

This also reminded me the overtheorized choice between Luke and Kenny, I don't know why but the leaving choice reminded me of Kenny and the staying choice reminded me of Luke, maybe TellTale is going to make us decide if leaving with Kenny or staying with Luke (that for some reason he decided to stay) I don't know.

Let me know what you guys think.

  • That's an interesting theory for the ending of episode 5 season 2, I could definitely see how that would leave it open for Season 3. Eh, right now it's too hard to choose between Luke or Kenny if that's how it goes down...
  • Or Maybe we have to decide to eat Ice cream or Pizza
  • I think the Kenny/Luke decision is too banal and it's not TellTale's style, but we'll see

  • And then the episode ends with a cliffhanger with Clem about to eat them. Dan Dan DAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

  • Interesting interpretation. Maybe the decision would be much more difficult if it made some character stay in the cold while others left for some reason. Like, what if Luke went in the helicopter and Kenny stayed in the cold?
  • Thank you Puncake for being my bro

  • I honestly don't know who I'd stay with.
A few days ago I got a piece of paper and I listed pros and cons between Luke and Kenny. Believe it or not it was a tie.
I think Kenny would go in the helicopter and Luke stayed in the cold. We all know Kenny likes transportation, (Boats, Trains, etc.)
I hope we don't have to choose between the two. If it's possible I'd convince the other person to come with me.

My theory: They get to wellington and it is the only place in the world with no walkers, so they throw a party, Clementine (because she does everything) has to get the food, pizza or ice cream.
If she chooses pizza, the groups mouths will get burned because they are too hot.
If she chooses ice cream, The group will all get massive brain freezes.
    HARD CHOICES EVERYWHERE!
  • If Telltale is making a season three, it has to be a decision that would allow them to easily carry on. If there's two very different paths like you suggest, it would be so difficult to continue on straight after the decision.

That being said, I have no idea what kind of crazy choice would allow them to continue :P

  • I still think its Kenny or Luke. But good theory though.

as GoneButLivedOn said, the stories cant be to different.
  • What if is not Kenny/Luke? What if TT put something even harder to decide? Maybe "person"/Christa? kenny/Luke would be a hard but kinda obvious, i mean we are expecting that to happen, but what if it don't? What if for example we have to choose between ice cream ( baby meaning ice cream needs to be handled with care or it melts and die) or pizza ( Christa wich you don't really need to care about pizza as much as an ice cream) it sounds stupid but my mind is weird" but it makes sense.
  • As long as there's ice cream, I'm cool with this.
  • As much I like your theory, I just don't see that happening by going either with Kenny or Luke, why? because then in S3 TT would have to make a two branch story.
  • I'd stay with Luke. Sorry Kenneth!!
  • I never thought of it like that, if the ice cream meant cold as in up north, while the pizza meant someplace else. I'm not sure if it could be true but it's a good theory.

I still think that pizza & ice cream choice is still going to be about Luke and Kenny though, just with the way the season is shaping out, where you're having to make choices on which one to sit with in episode 2, or who's plan to go along with in episode 3. However, it's very possible that when we reach episode 5, and we could get the decision if to stay in Wellington or to go, and that being the point where the two characters will come into it. Do you stay with one in Wellington or do you leave with the other?

Whatever the decision is, it's gonna kill me I know it T_T I really like Kenny and Luke.
  • I honestly just thought he was joking
