No, the menu should be presented in 8-bit glory! None of that fancy schmancy 3D stuff.
Wait, is there a difference between the terms 3D and 3-D? People seem to use them interchangeably, but I still remember 2D-era Sierra game boxes referring to their games as "3-D Adventures!" I would imagine that this was due to the appearance of depth in the backgrounds. Still, the mind boggles. Might as well slap 4-D on the box of a time travel game.
Sam & Max 204: Chariots of the Dogs - A 4-D Adventure Game!
That wouldn't make any sense. If any menu were to be more 3-D than the rest, it should have been Dangeresque 3, due to the fact that Strong Bad said it would be 3-D. No, ep. 5's menu should definitely be 2-D, and with all the low-res greatness of Videlectrix's games. Maybe it will be similar to main page 13 on the site, but with Strong Bad instead of Homestar.
I'm not entirely sure, but wasn't the Thnikkaman (here goes the Thnikka-, there goes the Thnikka-, here goes the Thnikka-, there goes the Thnikka-, here goes the Thnikkaman) talking about the Main Page? As in, Main Page 26 should be 3D?

i think that 3D is like pop out at you 3D and 3-D is like sbcg4ap 3-D
Yeah, a main page on the website using game graphics would be great. I didn't expect them to make a puppet one, and this couldn't be any harder.
Also there is no difference between 3D and 3-D. Just two different ways of writing the same term, which can have a variety of meanings. No reason to arbitrarily assign one meaning per spelling.
Also, that is pretty funny about the Sierra games, but game boxes do throw vaguely-applicable terms around. The boxes for Phoenix Wright games boast a "first-person perspective."

Well, it has both first- and third-person perspectives.

How dare you take the name of Phoenix in vain! Besides, it has a first-person perspective in the investagation segments.
I love the Phoenix Wright games. I just think it's a funny choice of words for what is essentially an illustrated text adventure. It's not like you're even navigating in first-person... but I digress.
Maybe after the game is completed, they'll do a new Main Page, with Strong Bad, dressed up as Homestar Runner, complete with that way of speaking down.

(and for what its worth, 105 has a more 2D style menu than most other menus)

Yay! Too bad my computer can't handle... more than 1 website.
Well, that's one way to get more fans for homestarrunner.com!

Back on topic, there already is a Main Page with state-of-the-art 3D graphics: http://www.homestarrunner.com/main21.html
And don't forget about http://www.homestarrunner.com/main13.html
"Oh, hewwo. I'm the Homestaw Wunner. Toons, Games, Email! SHUT UP, HOMESTAR!"
As for the 8-Bit is Enough menu, maybe it would have Stinkoman and Strong Bad, with StinkoMan spouting stuff like...
"Are you asking me for some SETTIIIIIINGS?!"
