"This group you got here." said Faith.

The memories of what happened 6 months ago flooded back into Charlies mind.

Charlie walked over to where Katherine was shouting.
"Scouting duty!" shouted Katherine.
"Am I on the list?" said Grant.

"Okay so that leaves April and Faith to look after this place." said Kaden.
"Okay let's go and get ready." said Grant.
They all went over to their tents to get their gear.
Charlie and Kaden shared a tent so they didn't have much room unlike everyone else.
"Lets try and get a chicken today." said Kaden smiling.
"As if! There isn't a farm for miles." said Charlie.
When everyone was ready they set off into the green woods.
"Aren't these the woods Faith was in?" asked Katherine.

Charlie had stopped to look at some plants. She was wondering if any of then where edible.

He was holding a bouquet of freshly picked flowers.

The group continued walking until they heard the moans of an approaching walker.

The group had walked further into the forest collecting rabbits and plants that they knew were edible.
"This should be enough for now. Lets ge----" said Katherine.

A enormous tree branch had fell on Grant and was crushing him.
He looked as if he was in alot of pain.

Walkers were approaching and they didn't have much time left.

The knife rose above his head and then without question he used all his strength to bring it back down.

Carlos had introduced himself to everyone and seemed to be quite a calm and nice person.
Artie began to wonder why the girl had decided to leave. Everything was fine here. It was the pray the group had been looking for.

"Santiago." said Carlos.
"Yes sir?" said Santiago.
"Please show our new arrivals around the community." said Carlos.
"Yes sir!" said Santiago leaving with the survivors.
The door closed with a loud bang. The only people in Carlos's office was Carlos and Jie.
"I found her." said Carlos turning towards Jie.
"Really sir?" asked Jie surprised.
"Yes. You know what happens next, don't you?" said Carlos.
"Yes sir... But are we ready?" asked Jie in a concerned tone.
"With the help of our new arrivals we should be." said Carlos.
"Should I round everyone up sir?" asked Jie.
"Yes inform them. Tell them that she is the biggest threat to this camp." said Carlos.
"Of course sir!" said Jie leaving the room.

"Everyone!" said Jie walking out onto the street.

Suddenly everyone around Artie (except for Zack, Clarice and Lilly) started muttering. Artie could hear people yelling and screaming.
"CALM DOWN!" shouted Carlos coming out of the vegetable and fruit shop.
The shouting and yelling died instantly. Everyone was so quiet that if someone dropped a pin you would be able to hear it.
"Today is a big day for us all." started Carlos.
"Today we need not worry about Charlie ever being able to hurt us. She killed my bestfriend without consideration and then attempted to kill me." continued Carlos.
"But today we kill her! For our community to continue to strive. She and her friends must be eliminated." shouted Carlos.
Suddenly what must of been the entire community roared with cheers and yelling.
Carlos had now returned to his office.
"Everyone wishing to apply to fight can sign up here!" shouted Jie.
Most of the crowd around Artie darted towards Jie eager to sign up.
"What the fuck?" whispered Artie so only Lilly could hear him.
"I know. Santiago seemed keen for us to sign up but.. Your only young." said Lilly.

Devin walked over to a closed door in the far side of the room.
"What I am about to show you is real. This place is fucked up and I think you should know the truth before you become to attached to Carlos." said Devin opening the door.

They didn't talk after that. They collected as many weapon's as they could and filled their pockets with ammunition.
Just as they were about to leave they heard a loud bang.
Artie and Lilly ran into the room but before Devin and April could, The entrance to the gun storage had opened.
"Shit, hide!" whispered Devin.
April and Devin dropped their guns quietly on the floor and hid behind a stack of guns.
"Come on lets get some weapon's." said a male voice.
April knew they were getting closer. She held her breath.
Suddenly her radio was making sounds of static.
"Katherine.... Here... Get out....Carlos.... Attacking." said the voice of Katherine followed by sounds of static.
Devin looked at April but before she could do anything someone had grabbed her.
"Well. Well. Well. Came crawling back did you." said the voice.
"Let her go Carlos." said Devin.
In a flash Carlos had his gun aimed at Devin. He pulled the trigger and Devin dropped to the floor.

One of the barricades had just collapsed.
Kaden ran over to help Charlie fix it.

Charlie had started kicking the barricade and cursing nearly every swear word at it.

"Right we haven't got much time." said Charlie slightly calmer.

April woke up in a dark room. It would of been completely dark but fortunately there was a single candle burning on a nearby table.
"Shit where am I?" said April.
April suddenly realised what had happened. Devin winking. She wondered whether it was real or not.
But it didn't feel as if she was really seeing things.
"Wake up bitch." said a voice.
"Where am I?" asked April.
Suddenly a door opened and in came Carlos with Lilly.
"Get your dirty fucking hands off me." shouted Lilly.
Carlos suddenly grabbed his knife from his belt and stabbed Lilly.
"I'm going to leave her too turn. Then you will die. That's if you haven't escaped." said Carlos.
He walked out and left Lilly crying in pain.

April was tied to her chair and wasn't able to escape.

Zack
Zack ran and hid behind a tree. He had a hunting rifle clutched in his hands.
"Kill them!" shouted a female voice.
Zack took his gun and aimed at the camp shooting randomly hoping he would kill something.
All of a sudden Zack dropped to the floor. Dead.
Faith
"Shit Charlie. There's Carlos." shouted Faith.
Faith was right. Carlos emerged from the forest.
"STOP!" shouted Carlos.
It took a few moments for everyone to stop shooting.
Faith was unsure whether to continue shooting or not. But she was paralyzed with fear. She was unable to make a decision.
"All I want is Charlie." shouted Carlos.
"Right here." said Charlie standing up.
Charlie's pistol was hidden behind her back.
"Look Charlie. I drop my weapon and you drop yours." said Carlos dropping his weapon slowly.
All of the Woodbury fighters dropped their weapons as well. Some where unsure what was happening.
A man emerged from the woods shouting.
"Boss aren't we suppose to kill her?" asked the man.
Faith realised it was Santiago. He was the one who chased Faith when she ran away from Woodbury.
"Stop! Santiago." said Carlos raising a hand.
Charlie
Charlie didn't think twice. She grabbed her gun and aimed it at Carlos.
His attention instantly sprung upon her.
"Now that isn't wise is it?" asked Carlos smiling.
"You lying piece of shit!" shouted Charlie.
"Me a liar?" said Carlos sounding asif he was hurt.
"You told all these people I killed John Dorian out of spite. I killed him because he was about to kill innocent people then he attacked me! Your the one that ran away like a fucking coward." shouted Charlie.
People in the woods started muttering.
"SILENCE!" shouted Carlos.
Everyone suddenly became silent.
"You can't possibly believe this crazy bitch." said Carlos.
"Fuck you Carlos." said Charlie.
She pulled the trigger. Carlos's body dropped to the floor.

I think Carlos should live, killing an antagonist too early makes it too easy. Once the group finds out Carlos is alive there could be an option to move up north (and I mean a couple hundred miles to a new state) and nobody dies. Or try to kill Carlos but many lives are lost. (If Carlos isn't killed they still decide to move up north.) And I might be playing favorites here but I don't think April should die. At least not like the way Andrea did in the show, I think it'd be to obvious.

April looked over to the stop where she left Katherine to find it empty.

Devin was right. Further into the woods they saw Katherine.

"We can't stay here!" said one voice belonging to a woman.
"Well we sure as hell can't go out there!" said the male voice.

Artie was alone. Like it had been at the start. He needed a group. He couldn't help thinking that it should of been him that Carlos took not Lilly.
She was probably dead he thought. He also thought that if she was it was definitely his fault.
Kaden
"Charlie what about the others?" asked Kaden.
"We need to find them." said Faith.
"I know but Woodbury isn't safe. It's bound to be locked down and they have hopefully escaped by now." said Charlie.
Kaden had walked up to Charlie.
"Charlie stop." said Kaden.
Charlie stopped almost instantly.
Kaden kissed her.
"Lets try and forget what happened." said Kaden smiling.
"Okay." said Charlie and she smiled back for the first time in a long while.
The three continued walking until they felt tired.
"Haven't you still got that radio?" asked Faith.

Charlie and the others did not know that Katherine's radio was dead so there was no way of communication.

The radio made sounds of static.

Just a quick notice this is at the same time Artie's group set off for Woodbury.
6 months later.
"What! This is fucking crazy!" said Charlie.
"Well we can't just fucking let her go! What if she tells people where we are?" pointed out April.
"I'm not doing this shit again!" shouted Grant.
"Look guys. She might be of some use." said Katherine.
"Well should we put it to a vote?" asked Kaden.
"Well I think that's the best thing to do!" said April.
The survivors had locked up a young woman inside a shed.
The woman had ran into their camp and most of them decided not to take any chances.
"I ain't voting. Not with what happened last time I was in this type of situation." said Grant backing away.
"I vote to let this woman stay." said Katherine.
"I agree with Katherine." said Kaden.
"I vote not to let her stay." said April.
"I'm going to vote to let her stay. Like Katherine said she could be of some use." said Charlie.
Then April stormed off shouting back at them.
"Well don't fucking blame me if you get your throats slit in your fucking sleep!" shouted April.
Then Kaden walked over to the shed door and unlocked it with a rusty old key.
A young woman walked out. She had black hair and grey eyes.
"Sorry about that." said Charlie.
"Hey. Don't worry about it!" said the woman.
"I'm Faith." she said holding out a hand.
"Charlie." said Charlie shaking her hand.
"I'm Kaden." said Kaden.
"I'm Grant and the woman that locked you up is April." said Grant.
"Who are you?" said Faith nodding at Katherine.

"Nice group you got! Who's your leader?" said Faith.
"Well we don't really have one." said Charlie.

Charlie and Faith walked over to a garden bench and sat down.
"This group you got here." said Faith.
"What about them...?" said Charlie suspiciously.
"They are all going to die." said Faith.

"No leader means no one to keep all of you in line. It can lead to people dying." said Faith.
"Excuse me? You've just got here and your already trying to tell us how to run our group?" said Charlie.
"I'm just trying to help you all. Too many people have died and I can't stand to see anyone else die." said Faith standing up.
Faith walked off and went to join April. April didn't look to pleased to see her.
"What was that all about?" said Kaden sitting next to Charlie.
"She told me everyone would die if we don't have a leader." said Charlie.
"Well I'll be voting for you." said Kaden smiling.
Charlie smiled back at Kaden. Kaden stood up and walked off.
As Charlie was about to walk away someone shouted after her.
"Charlie!" shouted Grant.
"Yeah?" shouted Charlie.
"Come here!" shouted Grant.
Charlie walked over to where Grant was standing.
"Charlie I need to talk to you." said Grant.
"Okay..." said Charlie slightly worried.

The memories of what happened 6 months ago flooded back into Charlies mind.

Charlie walked off with tears in her eyes. She remembered watching her best friend die nearly half a year ago.
Charlie walked over to where Katherine was shouting.
"Scouting duty!" shouted Katherine.
"Am I on the list?" said Grant.
"Yep! You, Kaden, Charlie and myself." said Katherine.
"Okay so that leaves April and Faith to look after this place." said Kaden.
"Okay let's go and get ready." said Grant.
They all went over to their tents to get their gear.
Charlie and Kaden shared a tent so they didn't have much room unlike everyone else.
"Lets try and get a chicken today." said Kaden smiling.
"As if! There isn't a farm for miles." said Charlie.
When everyone was ready they set off into the green woods.
"Aren't these the woods Faith was in?" asked Katherine.
"I think so." said Kaden.
Charlie had stopped to look at some plants. She was wondering if any of then where edible.
"Happy Birthday babe." said Kaden hugging Charlie from behind.
He was holding a bouquet of freshly picked flowers.
"Thank you so much." said Charlie kissing him.
"So how old are you now, 40 right?" said Kaden laughing.

The group continued walking until they heard the moans of an approaching walker.
The walker came into the groups sight. Charlie aimed loaded her bow with an arrow and let go of the string.
The arrow landed in the walkers head and it dropped to the floor.

The group had walked further into the forest collecting rabbits and plants that they knew were edible.
"This should be enough for now. Lets ge----" said Katherine.
Katherine was interrupted by the sound of something falling.
"What the fuck?" said Charlie.
"Oh shit... Grant..." said Kaden with his mouth wide open.
A enormous tree branch had fell on Grant and was crushing him.
He looked as if he was in alot of pain.
"Help... Me...." said Grant weakly.
Charlie had ran towards Grant and was trying to push the tree branch from his leg.
"Shit .... Help Kaden." said Charlie trying to push the branch.
"Katherine?" said Kaden.
"HELP!" screamed Katherine as a walker grabbed her.
Katherine was trying her best to prevent the walker from biting her.

Charlie finally came to her senses and knew what she had to do.
She knelt down beside Grant and took his backpack from behind.
"Thank.... You.... No ... Me ..... Walker." whispered Grant.
Charlie grabbed her gun from her backpack and aimed it at Grant's head.
She pulled the trigger and in a flash Grant was dead.
"Fuck....... Help!" shouted Katherine.
Charlie stood up and aimed her gun at the walkers head.
She pulled the trigger but nothing came out.
"Fuck! No ammo!" shouted Charlie frustrated.
Before Charlie could do anything the walker had sunk its teeth into Katherine's arm.

Charlie could barely hear him as Katherine's screams echoed throughout the woods.
Walkers were approaching and they didn't have much time left.
Kaden was next to Katherine and had his knife in his hands.
The knife rose above his head and then without question he used all his strength to bring it back down.
"OH MY FUCKING GOD." shouted Charlie.
Katherine's arm was now on the floor.
Charlie quickly ran over and grabbed the knife from Kaden's hand.
The walker dropped to the floor motionless.

The survivors ran away. Just in time as within seconds walkers had found their way to Grant's body.

Carlos had introduced himself to everyone and seemed to be quite a calm and nice person.
Artie began to wonder why the girl had decided to leave. Everything was fine here. It was the pray the group had been looking for.

"DON'T YOU FUCKING MOVE!" shouted April aiming her gun at a stranger's head.
"All I want is Charlie." said the stranger.

Assuming that either he wasn't alone or I couldn't or wouldn't leave my current location, my second choice would be to tell Charlie. "Don't do anything"? That's been a running gag for a while.

"Today we need not worry about Charlie ever being able to hurt us. She killed my bestfriend without consideration and then attempted to kill me." continued Carlos.
"But today we kill her! For our community to continue to strive. She and her friends must be eliminated." shouted Carlos.
Suddenly what must of been the entire community roared with cheers and yelling.
Carlos had now returned to his office.
"Everyone wishing to apply to fight can sign up here!" shouted Jie.
Most of the crowd around Artie darted towards Jie eager to sign up.
"What the fuck?" whispered Artie so only Lilly could hear him.
"I know. Santiago seemed keen for us to sign up but.. Your only young." said Lilly.

Artie and Lilly turned around a came face to face with a young man.

"Okay. Okay." said Devin.
Devin opened a door in the corner of the room.
"We need to make this quick!" said Devin.
"Okay are these guys just going to stand there?" asked April.
"Oi you two. Come help with this." said Devin.
"What are we doing?" asked Lilly.
"Collecting weapon's and taking them back to Charlie." said April.
"What? Isn't that the person who killed Carlos's bestfriend?" asked Artie.
"No she never. He's making it up." said April.
"How can you be so sure?" asked Lilly suspiciously.
"She just didn't. Shes not like that." said April.
They didn't talk after that. They collected as many weapon's as they could and filled their pockets with ammunition.
Just as they were about to leave they heard a loud bang.
Artie and Lilly ran into the room but before Devin and April could, The entrance to the gun storage had opened.
"Shit, hide!" whispered Devin.
April and Devin dropped their guns quietly on the floor and hid behind a stack of guns.
"Come on lets get some weapon's." said a male voice.
April knew they were getting closer. She held her breath.
Suddenly her radio was making sounds of static.
"Katherine.... Here... Get out....Carlos.... Attacking." said the voice of Katherine followed by sounds of static.
Devin looked at April but before she could do anything someone had grabbed her.
"Well. Well. Well. Came crawling back did you." said the voice.
"Let her go Carlos." said Devin.
In a flash Carlos had his gun aimed at Devin. He pulled the trigger and Devin dropped to the floor.
"Come on you fucking bitch." said Carlos.
Whilst Carlos was leading April out. April turned to look at Devin who had his eyes wide open.
April couldn't believe it. Did Devin just wink at her?
Kaden
"Shit! Where the fuck are they?" said Faith.
"Right. Load your weapons we might just have to work with this." said Kaden.
"Fuck!" shouted Charlie.
One of the barricades had just collapsed.
Kaden ran over to help Charlie fix it.
"Woah woah woah. Calm down there sweetheart." said Kaden.
Charlie had started kicking the barricade and cursing nearly every swear word at it.
Kaden helped Charlie pick it up.
"Right we haven't got much time." said Charlie slightly calmer.
"Positions." said Charlie.
Kaden took his position behind a wall of sandbag's.
"Shit here they come!" shouted Faith.
April
April woke up in a dark room. It would of been completely dark but fortunately there was a single candle burning on a nearby table.
"Shit where am I?" said April.
April suddenly realised what had happened. Devin winking. She wondered whether it was real or not.
But it didn't feel as if she was really seeing things.
"Wake up bitch." said a voice.
"Where am I?" asked April.
Suddenly a door opened and in came Carlos with Lilly.
"Get your dirty fucking hands off me." shouted Lilly.
Carlos suddenly grabbed his knife from his belt and stabbed Lilly.
"I'm going to leave her too turn. Then you will die. That's if you haven't escaped." said Carlos.
He walked out and left Lilly crying in pain.
"Shit Lilly! Are you okay?" asked April.
April was tied to her chair and wasn't able to escape.
"FUCK HELP!" shouted April.
Zack
Zack ran and hid behind a tree. He had a hunting rifle clutched in his hands.
"Kill them!" shouted a female voice.
Zack took his gun and aimed at the camp shooting randomly hoping he would kill something.
All of a sudden Zack dropped to the floor. Dead.
Faith
"Shit Charlie. There's Carlos." shouted Faith.
Faith was right. Carlos emerged from the forest.
"STOP!" shouted Carlos.
It took a few moments for everyone to stop shooting.
Faith was unsure whether to continue shooting or not. But she was paralyzed with fear. She was unable to make a decision.
"All I want is Charlie." shouted Carlos.
"Right here." said Charlie standing up.
Charlie's pistol was hidden behind her back.
"Look Charlie. I drop my weapon and you drop yours." said Carlos dropping his weapon slowly.
All of the Woodbury fighters dropped their weapons as well. Some where unsure what was happening.
A man emerged from the woods shouting.
"Boss aren't we suppose to kill her?" asked the man.
Faith realised it was Santiago. He was the one who chased Faith when she ran away from Woodbury.
"Stop! Santiago." said Carlos raising a hand.
Charlie
Charlie didn't think twice. She grabbed her gun and aimed it at Carlos.
His attention instantly sprung upon her.
"Now that isn't wise is it?" asked Carlos smiling.
"You lying piece of shit!" shouted Charlie.
"Me a liar?" said Carlos sounding asif he was hurt.
"You told all these people I killed John Dorian out of spite. I killed him because he was about to kill innocent people then he attacked me! Your the one that ran away like a fucking coward." shouted Charlie.
People in the woods started muttering.
"SILENCE!" shouted Carlos.
Everyone suddenly became silent.
"You can't possibly believe this crazy bitch." said Carlos.
"Fuck you Carlos." said Charlie.
She pulled the trigger. Carlos's body dropped to the floor.
"Burn in hell!" said Charlie standing over Carlos's body.

I haven't decided the fate of Carlos yet
I will be writing up part one of chapter 3 later!
Does anyone have any ideas for chapter 3?
I think Carlos should live, killing an antagonist too early makes it too easy. Once the group finds out Carlos is alive there could be an option to move up north (and I mean a couple hundred miles to a new state) and nobody dies. Or try to kill Carlos but many lives are lost. (If Carlos isn't killed they still decide to move up north.) And I might be playing favorites here but I don't think April should die. At least not like the way Andrea did in the show, I think it'd be to obvious.
Whatever you do I'll be fine with though.
Bet the majority will force her to leave within the day(forcing her to find her own food for the duration), and those close to her will have to decide: should they stay, or should they go? Cue song.

The Walking Dead: The Rise Of The Dead. Chapter 3 (Part One)
April
"Fuck!" shouted April trying to free herself from the chair.
Lilly was taking a turn for the worst. She was losing alot of blood and fast.
Lilly was now crawling towards April.
"At....least....I.....can....be.....with.....dad.." whispered Lilly and then she dropped to the floor motionless.
"FUCK KATHERINE!" shouted April.
There wasn't much time left.
Charlie
"Charlie!" shouted Kaden.
Charlie turned around and started to walk away.
"You come back here....and fight me." shouted Carlos clutching his chest.
Charlie continued walking until she reached the others.
"Let's go." said Charlie.
"You...come back here...Charlie..." shouted Carlos.
Charlie, Kaden and Faith continued walking until they were out of sight from the others.
April
Suddenly the door flung open.
"Help!" shouted April.
It was Devin. He was carrying two guns.
"Didn't think I was going to leave you here did you sweetheart?" said Devin smiling.
Devin walked over to Lilly's body and shot her in the head.
"Poor girl." said Devin untying April from the chair.
"What how do you get here?" asked April standing up.
"Everyone is gone. Expect for few kids and moms but besides that. We could walk right out of here." said Devin handing April a gun.
"Lets not waste time then." said April.
They walked out of the door and across the street.
They didn't talk until they reached the small entrance that Faith had told April about.
"Wait. What about Artie?" asked April.
"Couldn't find him. Looked everywhere." replied Devin.
April went first threw the gap followed by Devin.
April looked over to the stop where she left Katherine to find it empty.
"Shit... Katherine." said April sighing.
"The armless girl?" asked Devin.
"Yeah.. How do you know her?" asked April.
"Faith told me on the radio. Come on, she can't off gone far." said Devin.
Devin was right. Further into the woods they saw Katherine.
"Katherine?" said April.
"Shush, get down." whispered Katherine.
April and Devin crouched next to Katherine. They had a clear view on the camp they were staying.
"They left us." whispered Katherine.
"What?" asked April.
"Charlie, Kaden and Faith. They left us." whispered Katherine.
"Why are we whispering?" asked Devin.
"Shush! Look over there." whispered Katherine pointing to a small spot.
April looked to where Katherine was pointing. April saw two people set up about ten feet away from them.
April had not seen them before because they were well hidden and obscure. They were hidden behind a bush.
"Oh right." whispered Devin.
"Shush. Listen to what they are saying." whispered Katherine.
"We can't stay here!" said one voice belonging to a woman.
"Well we sure as hell can't go out there!" said the male voice.
"We need to find a group!" said the woman.
"Well we are doing fine by ourselves Arya." said the man.
"Fine! Well lets have it your way." said the woman named Arya.
Artie
Artie was alone. Like it had been at the start. He needed a group. He couldn't help thinking that it should of been him that Carlos took not Lilly.
She was probably dead he thought. He also thought that if she was it was definitely his fault.
Kaden
"Charlie what about the others?" asked Kaden.
"We need to find them." said Faith.
"I know but Woodbury isn't safe. It's bound to be locked down and they have hopefully escaped by now." said Charlie.
Kaden had walked up to Charlie.
"Charlie stop." said Kaden.
Charlie stopped almost instantly.
Kaden kissed her.
"Lets try and forget what happened." said Kaden smiling.
"Okay." said Charlie and she smiled back for the first time in a long while.
The three continued walking until they felt tired.
"Haven't you still got that radio?" asked Faith.
"Shit. Good thinking." said Charlie.
Charlie and the others did not know that Katherine's radio was dead so there was no way of communication.
"Hello? Katherine." said Charlie.
The radio made sounds of static.
"Hello. Are you there? My name is Gia and I'm from a small community. We are looking to help survivors." said the female named Gia on the radio.
"What who is that?" said Faith.
"Don't know." said Charlie confused.
"Has someone been listening to our radio calls?" asked Kaden suspiciously.

Pretty cool, but how did Artie get on the streets again? Where is Clarice? How did Zack end up shooting at the camp and what killed him? Or do you have this all planned out or something
Artie hid from Carlos whilst Lilly was taken. He escaped from Woodbury ending up alone.
Clarice's fate is unknown but she will be making a return hopefully.
Zack was convinced to sign up (which is not wrote down) and goes to fight but ends up getting killed by one of the survivors.
