"There are consequences to rash actions" Carlos's prophecy

When Carlos said this to Kenny in Episode 3, it made me wonder if Telltale was trying to teach something based on how we play. Back to the beginning of Episode 1, Clementine had the choice to either sneak away or the distract the bandits to help Christa escape. Sneaking just caused Christa to get stabbed in the leg, but distracting caused her to run away then trip with a faint cry then a gunshot silencing her cry. Maybe the distraction choice was indeed a rash action and the consequence was that Christa did actually get killed? I know it occurred offscreen, but after listening again, it really did sound like she was shot.

  • There's a gunshot either way.

  • I think it also referenced at trying to save Kenny, it was obvious that even if Clem got over to Kenny she would get her ass kicked anyways but most people did go anyways and got hit

  • Yeah, but maybe with the sneaking away choice, while the bandits were looking at Clementine, Christa stood up and grabbed the gun causing it to misfire, but ultimately didn't end with her getting killed...

  • Cutting off Sarita's arm is considered a "rash action" also. Maybe we'll get the consequence in the next episode

  • Carlos is the Chuck of season 2 if we don't listen to him , we will all DIE.

  • I think that's an interesting theory but I dont reckon Christa would be determinent from that episode 1 choice. Christa is too big a character to just leave out in my opinion for a choice like that.

Yeah, but quickly removing a bitten limb right after being bitten does prevent infection. Reggie talks about it. The consequence is that she lost her hand.

  • Or maybe with the sneaking away choice, the bandits just shot Christa in the face. They already stabbed her in the leg, so she wasn't in a very good position to fight back. Plus there was only one gunshot. There were two bandits with Christa while Winston went after Clem: Victor and Ralph. If one of their shots missed Christa because of her interfering, the other would just shoot her.

  • Yeah, that's possible too...

  • That's a good point but maybe she survives either way, maybe if you distracted the bandits she will be like, tnx for helping clem, and if you didn't she couldmbe liw, why didn't you help me?

And the axe that Clem killed the zombies with moments before is the same axe that Clementine used to cut off Sarita's arm. Zombie blood is also infectious

  • Other people on this forum told me yesterday that the walker blood isn't infectious.

  • Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

    II see :P

I like to go by Max Brooks Lore when TWD lore does not cover something XD

But that makes sense, thanks for telling me this by the way!
