I haven't been here that much these days and I don't really go to skype that much because I am kind of busy I haven't seen you here too, I guess I haven't seen almost nobody xD Btw, I don't have news.

I'm pretty well-known over there, heh but yeah Dumbasslive is a joke. The whole forum hates that dude because he's just a straight-up Youtube whore. That recent thread about him where a forum member called him out via Youtube was pretty sweet.
It's a natural evolution of a forum, sadly. With more population and more releases the people get broader and more aggressive or sensationalist. Those who aren't like that tend to leave or keep a tight knit clique.
He hasn't done anything though! Can't just insult him like that. What's your ID? I only know people like the mods, I onlyj ever remember there avatars.

Same as here, Biohazard Abyss. Ironically I just requested for my account to be closed there a few days ago, lol but I had won the Best Member of 2013 award. That place can be a complete madhouse at times, but other sections aren't too bad.

it's because season 1 had something season 2 doesn't and the forum's kinda split between apologists saying "s2e# was wonderful, the best ever. please can we have some more. and all you people who disagree can go fuck yourselves." and the people who are finding holes and flaws in the episodes and trying to find some sort of reason in it. the trolls are outside these 2 but still follow the same theme, they either loved it and bash anyone that didn't, or they hated it and screw anyone that liked it. i suppose you've also got the kenny vs luke group, too.
there's really no decent middle ground anymore. anyone with a decent or semi-valid point gets thrown into 1 of the groups, and then spammed with TLDR to anything well thought out, or just plain bashed for their opinion. there's still some decent dialogue going on, but you have to actually sift to find it.
Yee, I would, but I don't really know what to say there, everyone seems to have friendships and all that stuff and I don't have any close friendship like you guys do xD
What was once a small community where people could openly share their opinions without fear of being down voted or scorned has largely drifted into a community who post stupid shit like "kenny is aliev i prov it lel" or something like that. This community was much, MUCH better when season 1 was being released monthly. More people came in, and with more people came the idiots who make this forum once buzzing with life, a joke.
season 2 doesnt have many easy choices. back in season 1 it was almost clear what the right choice was a couple choices were hard but only a couple. now season 2 has choices that divide the community. like leaving sarah or trying your best to save her. stealing from a suspicious cripple to name a few.
This place used to be very friendly, TWD forum in itself was very respectful and accepting.
However, stupid things that happened while Season 2 was released is really what brought the community to the way it is now.
There weren't always trolls, or Cluke ships, or "Lee is alive" threads...
It was simple conversation, simple speculation. Hell, you can't even have the word "community" without "unity".
Shippers, trolls, r34 artists, leakers, hackers, haters are the downfall of this community. That's why we need more mods to stop that shit and keep this place clean.
I also didn't feel so comfortable there in the beginning, but I've befriended a lot of people since I started posting and chatting on Skype. And actually, you don't need to have something to say, we just post random stuff sometimes, it's fun. That also works for Skype.
Yee, I would, but I don't really know what to say there, everyone seems to have friendships and all that stuff and I don't have any close friendship like you guys do xD
Exactly. Why can't we all just come here and politely discuss the game, we're all fans, and we all care about the game. So when it comes down to it, why does it matter "what side we're on"?

It is frustrating when people who make silly threads and I spend a ton of time making a review and it gets lost in the heap. I do enjoy the well thought out discussions. It is common to see a ton of negativity but I do think there are more good threads than bad.

It's hard to take people seriously now-a-days.
I have been here Since October 17, 2012... However my first experience wasn't very nice. I left and came back around at Season 1 Ep 5 (i left on S1E4) and then since it was over... I left again. But now I jump here every now and then as I have few friends who like the walking dead Game but don't want to talk about it 2 weeks after the new episode came out.. I made a thread when S2 came out.. it was pretty talkative. (it was called " Small Things Mean Big Changes") and has 9.6k views. I think this community is alright, I haven't seen anything bad lately you just need to hang around the right threads. I think I'll be checking here regularly for a bit... Can't wait for Season 3
errrm, nope, Got is a pretty deep and complicated show, I'm pretty sure the telltale game will attract mostly the good part of the fandom, and the fandom of the ASOIAF books is one of the best there, and it's smart as hell too, those people have theorized to death the events of the sixth book, side effect of waiting 3 years for it probably, which causes me to think we need longer waits
Isn't GOT fanbase mostly preteens? Like girls who use tumblr? Because I see alot of that stuff on there, and if you are expecting decent peo… moreple, let me tell you to get prepared for the worse. If you think THIS is bad and how people react to deaths (me) - expect way worse and alot of more petitions and death threats.

Its simply what happens when a game series becomes more popular.
It pulls more people onto these forums. And more people equals more potential for having more idiots.
well, I'm talking about the book community, fandoms of books are of better quality than fandoms of shows/movie based off those books 90% of times, And ASOIAF vs GoT is most definitely one of those 90%, and the show community is a lot bigger for obvious reasons
I also didn't feel so comfortable there in the beginning, but I've befriended a lot of people since I started posting and chatting on Skype.… more And actually, you don't need to have something to say, we just post random stuff sometimes, it's fun. That also works for Skype.
It's pretty much same for many other forums elsewhere. People don't respect the opinions of others, I don't think some are even reading the whole comment/thread before downvoting it. It's called a discussion forum, people can(and should) have different opinions that's the beauty of it. There's also this whole "trolling" trend-- I don't know where the hell it came from-- but it's really got out of control. I can't imagine someone actually having a good time by deliberately making fun others, it's not a thing a healthy person would do. Respect is the keyword here, respect others, even when they don't share your opinions, you don't have to agree with them but you don't have the right to insult them or belittle their opinions.
I think this forum is very friendly and most members are thorough in there replies and don't tear you a new one if your punctuation and spelling isn't spot on.
A lot of people I have spoken with have giving their opinion and I respect that. The only reason I won't take an option is if they can't back up why they think that. E.g " Kenny is shit". why? "Because he is". As long as there's a valid point to what your posting how can I argue with that?
I like it when people are like.....I know what your saying but this is my view on this.... I'm not one that will stick to my gun if someone made good points to why my view could be wrong.
But iv not been around long enough to say how the forum is to how it was.

What happened to your grammar
Bioware Social Network, iirc

Well I guess it wasn't on screen but he was bitten, so the only appearence he would make would be as a walker.

Changed my avatar very frequently xP

I agree completely!
I don't know why anyone would down vote you for your opinion, what you said is simple but true.

I've been here since January this year. I like being here. I mean, like any forum it has its downs, but, mostly I enjoy talking with you all.
