Obviously he didn't since he begged for his life, but he should've thought that through. He's still evil for lying to his group and blaming clementine and putting everybody life's at risk.
but they might have done this before remember the trailer park i bet arvo and his friends were there that group had all most nothing there i bet they were robbed. arvo and his friends wasn't faraway from there
Mine didn't. The only thing that was taken was his gun, which was took for obvious reasons. Arvo had no vaild reason to tell his group about Clems group other then being a coward or an ass.
I understand what you're saying. But the bottom line is they surrounded us and with guns pointed at our heads, tried to rob a group of suffe… morering suvivors. And if the game gives me the opportunity to murder them, I'm going to personally take an interest in making them suffer.

They're objective was to rob them, it doesn't really matter if Luke beat them to drawing his weapon. The bottom line is that they're intention was malicious.
I don't think Arvo is evil, if he was he wouldn't be shaking like a leaf when holding the gun towards Clem and wouldn't even bother to say they have a baby to his group. I'll be honest, I thought he was lying about his sister or the medicine, even if it was true, he wasn't telling us everything.
That said, I agree about the theory that the group is using him somehow. Though I think he was trying to hide the medicine from them. I didn't steal from him, he still said I did it. Which made me think he hid it away somewhere else and told them we (Jane) stole it. He doesn't want them to have the medicine for some reason and I believe it is because he don't like the rest of the group, most likely because they treat him like shit. He does say "they are laughing because you're little girl" makes me think, they are making fun of him because he got robbed by a little girl. Sounds pretty stereotypical bullying to me.
Eddie and Wyatt implied nate friends were getting a little hostile and the old people were defenseless when he killed them and he only did it to steal the stuff they had
I don't think they're evil, but if they hurt/killed somebody in my group I'll be pissed. meh, I'm Russian myself, but it doesn't bother me that they're portrayed as stereotypical Russians.
No one is just straight up Evil, everyone has their reasons for things but some are more stricter than others on things, and I just don't like that they are SO the stereotypical Russian antagonist....

Yeah at least one half of TeamBike is gonna die in the shootout unless if another group takes out the Russians, and I just don't like that they are the stereotypical Russian villains because it's overdone in my opinion...

In this world, there is no good or evil. Only people doing whatever it takes to survive. Besides we are seeing it from Clem's pov, if we saw it from the Russian's pov we'd probably think the group was evil. Same with Nate, we see him from Russel's pov, so the fandom sees him as evil. If we saw everything from Nate's pov, it's very likely we wouldn't see him as evil as everyone thinks. Personally, Nate is one of my favorites, so I don't think he's evil at all. Just morally grey.
I am very worried..I know Clem won't die, and Luke or Kenny will most likely be injured. But Mike and Bonnie, I fear they will die. Yes, it is a bit overdone, but I still find it entertaining. XD

Arvo's "sister" doesn't exist, simple as. He got called out by Jane when the drugs were discovered. She and Clem both knew he would only distribute them to his group and he and they would abuse the drugs so they could delude themselves into thinking they're doing better than everyone else. They (Clem & Jane) took the painkillers to help Rebecca, and Arvo wouldn't even listen to reason.
Hope he and his entire f*cking group are shown annihilated and dead on the ground in bits and pieces for the bs they pulled.
I agree that it is not nice. We don't know yet if this is standard operating procedure for them, or if it's specifically revenge for Clem t… morereated Arvo. I hope that even if Arvo and the other three get killed off early on, we'll find out a little more about the true nature of the Russian community in the rest of the episode.
Just another thing - if Arvo really wanted to abandon his 'sick sister', why would he mention that her pain makes her cry out and attract the zombies? He may not happy about being with the group (perhaps he was hoping to sneak away with his sister and meant to drop her medication off at the observation deck first), but he's not dumb enough to not realize he wouldn't last long alone with his leg the way it is.

I knew he was lying right away.. I would have offed him if given the chance too. He lied to his group about us (If you don't steal) and he lied about his "sister," he's just a deceptive person.

To be honest, they not really bad people, just a little rough with their judgment. I mean, Avro saying we stole from them isn't the only reason why the group wants Clem's group. Like Bokor said, Jane treated him like crap and took his gun away, leaving him defenseless in defending himself from walkers. Plus, Avro is always right about stealing from him, I mean we either only took his gun or we as well took the meds. So maybe Avro's group just want to give them payback by simply leaving them defenseless like Avro was by Jane. Wouldn't anyone do the same if it was Clem. In addition, they don't wish to harm Clem's group if they have a baby. I even think that they would have let Clem go if Rebecca didn't turn.
Eddie shot his friend in the head when he was taking a dump in the woods fact.
Old people shoot first, Nate shoots last, i don't see the problem. In a survival situation first rule of survival is to either eliminate or avoid a known threat. How does Nate know they won't do it again, what if someone got killed because grandpa went crazy , and we just let him keep his guns. It would be on me.
no not right...

I think the conversation would go to making fun of his leg, to trying to get Arvo drunk to the point of vomiting, then accepting him into the fold as the beta male. Every group needs a Ben.

What? Of course the Russians are evil. C'mon guys were better than this as a community. They ambushed us even though we didn't steal from them . Get out of here trying to justify how they aren't evil. They literally opened fire in point blank range when we didn't even do anything to them AND we didn't want any trouble.
They opened fire because Kenny/Clem shot first and they overreacted. They wanted to rob Clem's group because Jane, a woman who they assumed belonged to them, had attacked, threatened and robbed Arvo of his weapons (and possibly medical supplies.)
It seems a little too obvious for them to just be generic "evil Russians". We'll probably change our minds just as players quickly changed their opinions about Bonnie. I have more faith in the writing than to just call them 'evil' because they're angry at Clem's group - you'd have done the same thing if a friend of yours was attacked and robbed.

i'm not talking about 400days the trailer park where clementine and jane found those dead people and jane says search them maybe arvo and his friends robbed them they had no guns but they did have three bullets and a nail file and they hadn't any medicine it's what they didn't have a group dug in like that would have that stuff
As I said, I'm Russian, and I totally understand what did they say. Maybe they used Russian proverb "eat you with your entrails" (get a flawless victory) and it confused some people, but I can't remember them saying something like this.
Interesting. Arvo says his people live "in the woods" and I'm inclined to believe them. But we don't know if the inactive corpses found at the trailer park were shot in the head by Luke/Nick, bitten by zombies, or killed by the Russian bandits.

Yeah, same with Vernon. Everyone seems to think he's some kind of deified villain, but he's just a man looking out for his own group. Look at it from his POV. A random stranger (Lee) barges into his safe haven, determinately threatening him with a gun. He loses a close friend (Brie) because a couple of random strangers (Ben and Kenny) decide to fight in the most inopportune time ever. One of said strangers (Kenny) explicitly planned to leave Vernon and his entire group to die in a city that he flooded with walkers via train once Vernon outlived his usefulness and helped fix the boat.

Dude you think people in TWD are good and evil?
Dawg why assume this group is that group when 400 Days is a year back in the story in Georgia?
Nope. You tell your group about strangers just in case. That could get your group screwed if you don't. My Clem warned Luke
That is le strange. If we have to shoot them I'd just shoot them clean considering they ain't some St John or Carver
Technically they did not point their guns until Luke pulled up his gun at Arvo in a threatening manner.
They're objective was to rob them, it doesn't really matter if Luke beat them to drawing his weapon. The bottom line is that they're intention was malicious.
well arvo steped to take there stuff that is why luke raised his gun
That's depending on dialogue, in my game Arvo stood still while speaking Russian to his group and Luke raised his gun.
well yea he's a puss and thinks jane is nearby
People Judge Nate on the DLC episode which lasted maybe 10 minutes.
He REALLY wanted to kill those old people and he also pursed Wyatt and Eddie for god knows how long trying to kill them

Well if you want to bring that up.

we'll see what happens in episode 5

Yeah didn't mean the old people, #NateConfirmedForEpisode5 (I hope he talks to Clem, imagine it)
I hope so, I wanna see Kenny and Nate become drinking buddies. They both like the same whiskey.
That would be awesome, but if Arvo survives what do you think he would say to him?
I think the conversation would go to making fun of his leg, to trying to get Arvo drunk to the point of vomiting, then accepting him into the fold as the beta male. Every group needs a Ben.

The Russians Among Us.
So true, except.for when they mess up they all yell SHITBIRD!! Then, Kill or abandon him somehow then repeat with some other guy...
What if the Russians take the weapons, the baby formula, and the baby?

Every group who faces with clementine group is evil!
Good idea
There can't be that many groups wandering that area. Mostly that far into zombie apocalypse
