I DONT think they are foreshadowing C***'s death.
So one of the hot topics right now on these forums is the possibility that the conversation between Jane and Clementine is foreshadowing Clementines death in episode 5. The conversation goes something like this.
Jane - "They can keep you safe forever.."
Clementine - "No one is safe forever"
At some point in the conversation Jane also says "Give it enough time and everyones luck runs out"
I dont think this is foreshadowing Clementine's death, but i do think this is infact foreshadowing something. I think this is foreshadowing Clementine's vulnerability in episode 5. I'm saying at some point in the episode 5 Clementine will be alone, the achievements do not prove otherwise. When Jane says "They can't keep you safe forever" I think its foreshadowing that most of the group will die or go missing. Clementine could be alone with Rebecca's baby.
When Clementine says "No one is safe forever" Could be foreshadowing major character deaths in episode 5. Potentially characters that have been with Clementine for a very long time so its feels like 'forever' (Kenny? Luke? maybe even Christa?)
When Jane says "Give it enough time and everyone's luck runs out" Could be foreshadowing the major amount of luck Clementine has gotten this season. I think that Clementine will be all alone or maybe with a couple people and on the verge of death, all of her luck had run out, until the last minute. I dont think we will see Clementine die in episode 5 and if she does i don't think that Jane's conversation is foreshadowing the type of death Clem deserves.

Kenny: "I got lucky real Lucky"
Jane: "give it enough time everyone's luck runs out"
Uh oh......
KENNY CONFIRMED DEAD FOR EPISODE 5
jk Kenny fans don't hurt me, please.
it's foreshadowing something for sure. god post
i think he is right kenny might die jane's quote ( every ones luck runs out ) episode4 kenny quote (i got lucky real lucky ) episode2
I wonder if the song Sarita was singing at the lodge will foreshadow anything.
Ummm.... just to be on the safe side, which characters have said lucky? I'm pretty sure Kenny and Luke have said they were lucky at least once.
Aww I would hate to see Kenny die... but I like the other 3 members of the crew too, someone is dying for sure. :'-( I'm gonna go start playing Season 2 again...
I believe Kenny says how he gets real lucky in Savannah and Luke says he gets lucky by sneaking Into Carvers Camp?
I may have read something on the interweb or may have not. I have a feeling however everyone's luck is going to "run out." If i was Clementine i would of said, "You know what JANE, just because you have bad luck all the time doesn't mean I do, oh wait my parents are dead, Lee is dead, Omid is dead, and everyone else i liked!"
maybe Jane just foretold her own demise and they'll come across her reanimated corpse...
Clem: "Guess you were right... everyone's luck runs out eventually." (kick to the knee / ice-pick to the back of Jane's head)
Nod at the writer and people die! Everywhere, PEOPLE DIE!
This game is starting to feel like the end season of Sopranos.
Yeah... I thought the convo between Jane and Clem was foreshadowing Kenny's death. I have a theory about that, too, but I'm not sure. But I do think the "They can't keep you safe forever" "No one is safe forever" could be foreshadowing that Clementine will be alone (+ maybe the baby??) by the end of episode 5. But luckily, Clementine has the skills to make it on her own.
Kenny's luck won't run out just now, at least I hope. If he managed to get away from a whole street of walkers, some gangstas wont be enough to stahp him.

"Amid The Ruins" seemingly validates Jane's philosophy of violent death being inevitable through the freak accidental deaths of Nick and Sarah. But her talkativeness and the mistakes she makes as well (antagonizing Arvo and distracting Luke) indicate that being a lone wolf isn't sustainable even for her. I hope Episode 5 will prove that philosophy wrong by letting Clem save someone's life and make it last.
"Mark my footsteps, good my page. Thread thou in them boldly. Thous shalt find the winter's rage, freeze thy blood less coldly..."
Sarita says it's about two people hiking all night through a snow storm and the second person can't go on...
Im calling it thats Clem and Kenny and Kenny can't go on.
I guess Clementine dies in the snow with Kenny because she won't leave him! Never
im betting theres going to be a plot twist. Luke and Mike actually die in the gunfire and Bonnie gets taken away. The Pizza or Ice cream choice will be Kenny or Christa
BUMP!![:D :D](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Why do you guys always do this?
I mean no use in putting ***, everyone knows what you are talking about.
Sounds about right. The internet never lies.
Not everyone has played episode 4.
I don't see Christa coming back. I'm sure she gets stabbed in the leg, that's a pretty dangerous place to be stabbed. Unless she "got real lucky"
perhaps, but at this point, it's been out awhile. If you haven't played it yet and don't want to know what happens, you probably shouldn't be poking around forums dedicated to the game (and if you do, you shouldn't get upset when others are discussing details). Just my 2 cents
I mean lets say you were talking about ummm Tina's death, don't put T***'s death, its a spoiler.
Put *******'s death, make it unrecognizable.
I'm not changing It. It doesn't say anyone is dying anyways, C*** is not Clementines full name so it isn't a easily to associate then C********
I think that already happened, with Rebecca.
I never asked you to change it, I'm just saying it could have been a definite spoiler (luckily this is a theory)
in that case, is it really a spoiler if that character is still alive? Perhaps it's semantics, but if we're talking about what might possibly happen in the next episode, that's just speculation, not a spoiler.
Like if it was after the episode .
Before 204 came out, ps3 users got 204 late, but the other players got it earlier and had threads like "About S****'s death"
Spoiler..
Someone still kept Nick? Man. You deserve an award.
Clem says it to Lee, "I want you to stay lucky too." with lee replying "Since the day I've met you I have been lucky." (sorry I can't remember the quote its been awhile since I played series 1)
Kenny says it to Clem in series 2. "I got lucky really Lucky." that's on how he escape from the zombies.
then Jane says it to Clem in ep4. "Give it enough time and everyone's luck runs out"
I can't remember If/when Luke talks about luck, sorry
Wow... those two specific characters just had to say the L word? Hmmm, I wonder if any other characters have talked about luck then died, Lee did as thedreamcatcher quoted.
