From a writing standpoint, I think Luke holds a lot of potential for future storylines. The writers have clearly set up this sibling dynamic between them, as well as him being the reminder of her morality. A lot of his actions and dialogue with Clementine parallels Clem's interactions with Lee in season one. Whenever Lee made a questionable choice for the sake of survival, Clementine was always there to disapprove and almost scold him for doing so. Take the stolen supplies situation and the Arvo decision for example. If you decide to steal from Arvo and tell Luke, he will be upset and disappointed in you, beginning to perceive you differently. If you stole from the car, Clementine will be angry with you and will be hesitant to accept any reasoning you have for stealing (just like you have the option to defend stealing from Arvo).
There is also the hard choice between Lee killing Danny St. John or leaving him for the walkers. If you chose to kill him, Clementine would be shocked and will ask you why you had to do it (just like how Luke will be disappointed in how you chose to watch Carver be killed). Luke will also say that while Carver was a bad man, he hopes that none of them become like him ("This is not how the world works now!" Lee will say if he spares Danny and Clementine will remember that he didn't kill him). Actually, you could probably say the same for their conversation after Lee determinately kills Larry or tells Kenny not to. Clementine was there to question Lee's choices the same way Luke is there to question Clementine's.
On that note, I think Jessica Brezzo once admitted that Luke was planned to be her moral compass. Continuing on with him would also let the writers expand more on his character. You can watch a man who struggles to balance morality and survival. A poor move on the writers part would be to kill off characters we don't know a lot about instead of exploring them more. Plus, I don't want Clementine to end up alone again. Why meet the entire cabin group if they're all just going to die anyway?
It's also not a huge thing but I found it interesting how it's impossible not to tell Luke about Lee. Even if you stay silent, she'll confide in him anyway about it. It was intentional that Luke, the first person to connect with Clementine this season, would be the one to hear this story as opposed to Nick, Carlos, Rebecca, etc.
Clementine will live because she's the closest thing left to hope in the series, and the story of a girl coming of age in a setting as bleak as this is, ironically, refreshing.
Rebecca's son because children are vital to human survival. Humans have been through a lot of horrible disasters, droughts, wars and plagues and still remain on top. If babies lived through that, they can survive the walking dead and build a better society.
Christa because a maternal figure for Clementine would be vital, and discovering that Clem kept a baby alive could re-kindle her love for her. It would also provide a good bookend for this Season, which began with Christa losing Omid.
I'd add Mike to that list. He hasn't had much screen time, but what we do know about him makes me think he's a survivor--like how he knew to cut Reggie's arm off. Because he's a largely unknown quantity at this point, there's a lot of room to explore storylines there.
I wouldn't bank on Bonnie: she made some pretty bad choices, and as a result she feels guilty enough that she'd step between Clementine and a gun. Luke is a definite possibility, but he's enough of a hero to get himself killed. That'd be too bad, honestly--I agree that the sibling dynamic between him and Clementine would be great for S3.
Kenny's in bad shape, but even so he might make it. Look at everything he's been through so far and he's still going. When he and Lee are on the train in S1, just before the walkie-talkie comes on, if you ask him how he's doing he says something about his heart will keep beating and there'll still be blood in his veins, but that's about it. And that's pretty much how he is now, dead but walking, so to speak. If there's a chance for him to save Clementine with his own life, he'll do it. If he goes, that's how he'll go.

I think things are setting up for Kenny to have a slow, lingering breakdown before his death. The penultimate achievement for Episode 5 seems to imply the death of at least one major character, and the issue of Kenny getting brain damage and an infection from his eye has been brought up already. We've already had too much of the Season devoted to him being stuck in an endless loop, and it'd be better for the writers to let go of him and allow another character to take the spotlight. Whether that's Luke or Christa is up to them, though I'd prefer Christa because a black mother figure would be welcome in a story such as this.
I'm guessing that Luke will be injured in the gunfight due to being distracted, leading to both him and Kenny dying by the end.

The penultimate achievement for Episode 5 seems to imply the death of at least one major character
The ultimate achievement pretty well fits my view of Kenny, as in "dead, so stop walking already!" But I still think if he gets a chance to sacrifice himself for Clementine, he'll take it. Anything to make his death mean something, and protecting family would definitely do the job. (No matter what happens, I bet Clem takes his hat.)
I'd prefer Christa because a black mother figure would be welcome
Me too! In fact any real mother figure would be welcome. Having been an 11-year-old female myself at one point in the distant past, I know that Clem's going to need serious help before long. Rebecca was fit for that, but it's too late now. Bonnie's pretty hopeless, and while Jane is smart enough I doubt she's coming back.

Bonnie: Minus a foot cut off due to a walker bite.
Mike: He'll be wounded in the shootout, but will survive
Baby: If the baby dies, hope is dead
Deaths:
Kenny: will die during the shootout. We'll get an emotional death scene with him at the start of the episode, and will make a lot of players want to execute a wounded Arvo.
Luke: will get bit doing something heroic. Will finish himself off with Carver's pistol.
My guesses for survivors:
* Clementine- season 3 protagonist
* Bonnie: Minus a foot cut off due to a walker bite.
* Mike: He'll be wo… moreunded in the shootout, but will survive
* Baby: If the baby dies, hope is dead

Either Kenny or Luke won't survive (maybe neither of them will). The first achievement of the game, "Blood and Iron," is taken from an old German speech: "Not through speeches and majority decisions will the great questions of the day be decided... but by iron and blood." One, or maybe both of them, will be going down in the gunfight. Personally, I'm hoping it's Kenny. I'm so over him at this point.
Bonnie and Mike is a tough decision. I think Mike will be injured and die slowly, and Bonnie will be alive with Clem and the baby. As much as I want Mike to live, he'd probably end up being a Grudging Caretaker cliché, and if both Mike and Bonnie lived, it would end up being Christa-And-Omid2.0.
Also, Christa will die, and her death will actually be confirmed. Mostly just a pipe dream there. I don't think we'll end up with any closure on her (which is really dumb considering she kept Clem safe for a longer period of time than anyone else in the series), but I'm hoping we'll at least see her before she dies. If she lands any screentime at all in episode 5, I have a feeling it'll just be her corpse or something dumb like that.
TL;DR- Clem, Baby No-Name, Bonnie, and maybe Luke will make it out.

Clementine, Kenny/Luke, Rebecca's son.

I have a feeling this'll be the group going into S3:
Clementine
Kenny
Luke
Alvin Jr.
Someone new.
Kenny has a bit too much development to just die in the shootout, don't you think.
There's also Luke vs. Kenny which has been going on since 202.
But Mike going into S3 sounds cool.
