Soon the last episode of Season 2 will be released and TWD community will be replaced by 12 year old Borderland fans who will start raging here. So expect posts such as this from now on:

i think the Borderlands fanbase is a little older than that generally speaking, these forums will still be fine.
Not all Borderlands fans are a bunch of 12 year olds. Thats the COD community to be honest. And to be honest, if they don't like the game, what makes you think they will come on the forum?
I'm not saying that their won't be a couple of those guys, but the majority of people are excited for Telltale's upcoming games. So I don't see the forums changing that drastically.
If there are going to be people like that, hopefully they will stay in the borderlands section ;-;

Borderlands is actually a pretty dark game at times, and has some rich lore, plus the characters are all really well written and likable. I don't know why this community seems to think it's just a generic FPS game. Also, shouldn't this be in the TellTale Talk section that nobody ever looks at?

Have you even played borderlands? A majority of the people i played with sounded like they were over 20.

One of the things that pisses me off is when people put a whole fan base on the same boat as the more.....irrational fans. By that logic, all Kenny fans are rabid fanboys who won't listen to reason, or all of TWD fans are just angry spammers who complain about the release dates.

Because the current community is just so, so peachy.
It is not only nonsense... it's also exactly the opposite of what will happen.
Judging from the last "how old are you" threads, more than 50% of the Telltale TWD forum fanbase are underage. Frankly, for a game that's meant to be played 17+ only, we can not call that ideal.
The Borderlands crowd could have a completely different and far far more diversivied age distribution.

I can't say I ever paid much attention to the demographics. For the most part, I only guessed. But I certainly didn't expect such a demographic for Borderlands. A lot of people are over 35 years(one of them is actually 72).
This also leads me to believe TFTB will attract quite a lot of fans, since I'm pretty sure a majority of them hoped to see a version of the game that focuses more on the story, rather than the FPS elements

ignorant OPs who never even played Borderlands, thinking this is some kinda CoD with them kiddies running around all day. These forums are on their final days indeed...though more because of the fact that every user with half a brain will leave in annoyance of people like OP.
you can tell these people how rich the borderlands universe is all day, they will never listen to you anyway. Seen the same shitty threads ever since it got announced.

What's Game of Thrones about ? Also what's Borderlands about ? I heard of both series but old what the plot is too both .... if you don't mind me asking

People said the same thing about potential Walking Dead fans prior to when Season 1 came out.
As for whether or not that is true, I'll let you guys be the judge of that.
summing it up drastically:
borderlands is about mercs (vault hunters) going on quests to achieve mighty loot on a harsh planet. The best loot is supposedly hidden in vaults, which the vault hunters try to find and open. A rather humorous, yet also at times very serious/dark universe.
Game of Thrones is about a medival fantasy world inhabitted by several powerful families which all seek to gain rights to the throne of the kingdom they live in. Lots of deaths, intrigues and war in there. No character is safe (aka protected by plot-armor), which is the series' main selling point.

If someone is able to understand and enjoy the type of games telltale puts out, I fail to see why age matters. The majority of the fanbase aren't 12 year old kids screaming over everything.

Besides why do you think its going to take them another year to continue the story. It takes them about two months or so to write a episode.
Why wouldn't they just continue the story...
