When I was little, my dad let me watch Halloween, and for the next 3 years, i thought i kept seeing Michael Myers pop up next to my bed holding a knife.
I had a reoccurring nightmare when I was little where I'd be sleeping in my room and then suddenly my tape player would turn on and wake me up. It'd play a nursery rhyme called engine engine number 9 that used to really creep me out and then I'd hear really loud knocking coming from inside my wardrobe. I'd sit there in bed terrified and hugging my teddy for dear life, listening to some kind of monster trying to force its way out of my wardrobe.
I had a dream once that I lived in a world build on lies. And it was monday , I forgot to do my homework and I was late to school. Every one ignored me and I flunked a test. Then I realized it was reality.

When I was about 7 or 8, I had a night terror about a giant mechanical Mickey Mouse bursting into a grocery store and killing a whole bunch … moreof people. I still remember the sounds and even this menacing music in my head, it's the most distinguished nightmare about a 'monster'.
I've also had very vivid zombie dreams my whole life. One in particular was when my parents abandoned me, 13 at the time and my like 15 year old sister in our home during the zombie apocalypse. They left us to fend for ourselves, and I remember my sister got bitten and became infected, and I had to chain her up to stop her from killing me, because she would go through cycles of trying to turn into a zombie. My parents ended up coming back to save us, but when I was gathering my things, they drove off with my infected sister and left me. I remember running out into my front yard, and crying for them to come back. ;A;

When I was 10, me and my class traveled to St. Petersburg by train. I don't usually see any dreams, but during the night in the train, I've seen a very weird nightmare thaat I still can't forget.
I've seen a storage or an underground parking, I was never sure. There was a huan height ragdoll standing in the middle of it. The ragdoll was very colourful. A long line of people stood in front of it. People walked to the ragdoll, it grabbed their shirts and looked them right in the eyes so their faces get multilated. Then people just walk away like nothing happened. Here comes the scariest part of the nightmare - a lot of random human faces appear out of nowhere with a soundless scream. Their eyeballs are missing and their mouths are torn. Then, a little boy runs in and says "Stop it!". There's no sound and the text appears on the screen, like in a silent movie. The ragdoll replies: "Come here! Let's be friends!". A boy approaches the ragdoll. It grabs him by his shirt and viciously stares into his eyes so his face gets multilated.
I still don't know what the fuck it was, but I woke up and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night.
I don't really know if it counts as a nightmare really, but I have been having dreams where I feel like I am completely paralyzed. I try as hard as I can to move, but can't really do anything. Occasionally I'll be able to twitch a muscle or something. Members of my family are nearby, so I try and call out, but I am too weak to make much of a noise. I feel like I'm slowly suffocating/ dying.
Its actually kind of terrifying, and has woken me up a number of times. The dreams feel very real.
Those are god damn annoying. They have happened SO many times to me recently. I feel like I'm dying, when in reality my mind just isn't in sleep mode yet. It's strange, my body instantaneously becomes limp. I can SOOOOOOO relate to what you're going through man.
