Why does anything exist?

If there was nothing before anything, why was there nothing? Was it just an endless black screen, or was it white, purple green, orange? Why did nothing exist? And if there was nothing, why did anything come after? Was there a God for an answer to all our endless questions? And if so why did he exist? Who created him and why did that entity exist and who came before it? Did a God just spontaneously appear in existence. And if so why? Why wasn't there just nothing? And if there was nothing, why was there nothing? And if there was only nothing, why did anything exist after?

What did you see before you were born? What did you feel or hear when you weren't aware you're alive? And what will be there for you after you died.
Nothing. Nothing has no beginning and no end, it has no shape and no colour. It just is.
And what did the universe see before it was born?
Nothing.
And stuff started existing when the universe was the first thing ever to be born. Who says the birth was similar to a human birth? Maybe it is usual for universes to be born out of a little mistake in one little particle.
Maybe there are billions of universes out there (I'm not talking galaxies here), each existing in another dimension.
I'm so deep.
Good questions no body can answer...We can't answer it yet we argue about it...Funny.
Coincidence.
Coincidences do not exist. It is just another excuse made by man to challenge things we do not understand.
There is no answer to this question, which makes arguments for it meaningless. Just like life, this forum, your post to me and my post to you.
Exactly the only reason for life is survival...but why survive when life has no meaning...Well....There is no answer.
Everything is nothing , to be honest. What you see is what exists. What is not you is in your brain. You are your own director, writer and producer of this long but ending movie you call "Life". We, the other people, are just actors that complete this world and to make your movie complete. Everything you see, hear and smell is a lie, because everything is nothing else then just your imagination. So, yeah, everything is nothing .
Just an endless amount of questions...
Isn't that all life just is?
Yes, they do.
My dad was working in an office when 9/11 happened. That does not mean he caused 9/11.
One time, me and my husband both tried to call each other at the same time. That was a coincidence, as we were ringing about entirely different matters.
Coincidences have to exist, otherwise everything causes everything and vice versa.
One man's excuse to use cursive is to emphasize a certain part of text he wrote. The other man's excuse for using it is simply acting pretentiously.
Am I one, Flog?
There are a hell of a lot of pretentious people here judging by this thread.
It's probably because they're young or something and are in the phase of youth where you pretend to know everything and so make deep points just for the sake of making deep points which dont mean anything anyway.
No.
Care to explain your position then?
Or they've discovered the joys of being high.
Am I one of those people, Flog?
I think saying life is only questions is absurd. Plants are alive, they don't ask questions. Humans can be alive without asking questions.
You can choose to make your life about questions, but it doesn't have to be, and as a result that cant be all life is.
This meaningless life is what you make of it
Could be. Since the demographic of the forum is mostly early to mid teens, I'd say this explanation is as good as any.
Then it isn't meaningless. Stop with the pretentious bull, it's transparent as water.
I think that's why the dragon age forum is far more civil. And has far less bandwagoning.
But you say I am one?
You're not the worst in the thread.
There is absolute truths but there are questions too. You can make your life about whatever you want but in the end, the questions are still there.
I have a certain... animosity towards Cullen's fans, but, mostly, the DA forum is good enough, I'd say. So is the DA thread on here, which is by now the most frequently visited thread on this forum for me.
I didn't exactly mean life has to be ABOUT questions, I meant that life is centered around questions.
But if you can make your life about whatever you want then life isn't just about questions, which was your argument.
Cullen fans pretty much stick to one thread though.
The Kenny fans proved themselves incompetent of that a year ago when the mods asked them to stop spamming and take all kenny discussion to one thread, and they ignored them.
But it is meaningless. You're born, you live you die. Your lover and children are born, they live, they die. All to be forgotten. Like you were never there. One day when the sun will die. The human race and all of its achievements will die along with it. All of it would be meaningless in the end. You can enjoy life, but It doesn't mean it's any less meaningless.
Not always, though. Sometimes they are moving out of their threads to argue with Cullen's opponents, like me. But, I'm glad that there are his opponents. I was worrying that most people on Bioware forums are actually supporting the addition of Cullen in DA:I.
Well, as a Kenny fan, I don't mind this much... most of the time, at least. But, I'll just refer to my previous point about this forum's users' average age.
P.S: Was it a year already? Hell, so much time has passed...
No.
We find our own meaning.
The fact that everything dies doesn't make anything meaningless. If it did you wouldn't waste your time on an internet forum.
My comment disappeared but...
My argument was that life is centered around questions but you don't need to answer them.
Yes, they do. Usually, from what I've gathered, when someone makes a thread about how much they hate cullen, as all cullen fanboying/girling has its own thread already.
In which case its hardly surprising they'd argue with you.
There's a difference between actively supporting and saying 'okay.'
A bit less than a year. Ever since the 'I thought you were dead line' came out. The worst ones have seemingly left the forums now thank Christ.
They'll complain about the fact that Kenny isn't the main character of season 3 but they'll quickly get bored and just start discussing the new, interesting characters.
But then it isn't centered around questions.
The biggest argument I've participated in (and the only one so far, also partially derailed into "Why Leliana is alive, even if I killed her in my world state?", participated briefly in that one, too) was in a thread which I've already forgotten the name of, but, hell, the thread was derailed for more than 10 pages by those arguing.
Yeah, I know that. Those who are "okay" with Cullen are simply much less vocal, therefore I don't hear/see them much.
Well, even so, a lot of time has passed. I'd wish some of Jane fans left the forums, too, but, since they reside mostly in TWD forum, I don't see them much. Ah, well. Live and let live.
Personally, I wouldn't like for Kenny to be a PC in Season 3, either. He works best as a supporting character, a deuteragonist, if you will. Making him a PC will allow the player to act completely out of character for him, since his personality is more or less established by now.
P.S: On a side note, what is your opinion of Cullen?
It is...You don't need to answer them, you can ignore them but they are still there.
The only rude Jane fan who is still on the forum is Zykelinator or however you spell her/his name.
They still havent reached the heights of proposing to hang all Kenny fans or murder one particular Kenny fan as has happened to the Jane group, for logical reasons as they are less fanatically attached to her character due to the fact that she is in the story for a third of the time Kenny is.
I meant deuteragonist. Like, he is just not going to be as major a character in season 3 as he has been. he'll almost certainly either die or we'll never see him again. And there will be brief riots.
I'm jsut praying we dont get a bleeding kenny dlc such that the fanatics come back and start calling people faggots again.
I dislike Cullen personally, due to his stance on the mage conflict and his racism towards dwarves in da:o and apparent racism towards qunari in dai, however I think he'll be a useful member of the inquisition.
No, we make up our own meanings to feel better of us not having any purpose. Sort of like how people still use "God" as there security blanket for things they do not understand
Just because life doesn't have any meaning it doesn't mean you still can't use life's current luxuries like the internet.
They are always there, however you don't need to care if you don't want to.
