Looks very nice, but I've never really been a fan of Metroid. Don't get me wrong, it looks incredibly top-notch, especially for a Wii game, but I'll probably rent it first before buying it.

I'm not a Metroid fan either, but it's the best offering at E3.

[offtopicrant]Seriously, A VITALITY SENSOR?! WHAT PRACTICAL USE IS THERE FOR THAT [/offtopicrant]

I expect it to play in a similar way to the recent Ninja gaiden.

The info box mentions that the video is "for educational purposes only."

    Such as...?

From what's been said, Apparently it's like the older games (Metroid 1, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion ETC.)

It is a mix of 3rd person and first person. Can't wait for it!

He just put that there for copyright purposes. If a video is Educational, Parody, or criticism, then it's not copyright infringement.

In this case, it is infringement, but the uploader of the video claims that it isn't. :)

I've never really been a Metroid fan, but I only ever played Metroid Fusion, so that may be the reason. Anyway, this game looks absolutely amazing.

'Tis a mix of the 2D platforming elements from the older games, and also some 1st person action likely similar to that created by Retro Studios. So, they're trying to appeal to both types of fans.

I love the irony of this sentence because video games are not practical at all and a vitality sensor (probably a heart rate and moisture monitor) is very practical.

I doubt we would see Samus in a revealing outfit in this title despite being made by Temco's Team Ninja.

I... Kind of hate Metriod, to be honest. I've tried to paly so many of them and they definitely have their moments but I almost always end up bored and/or frustrated and can't finish them.

That said, this game looks DAMN COOL! But I don't know if I'll play it, since I just haven't enjoyed previous Metroids...

it looks cool but it has the stupidest name ever!!!

Makes you wonder what the "Other M" is...the feeling I'm getting about the title is the same one I had for the title of the new Kingdom Hearts DS game.

Apparently the "Other M" part is explained somewhere in the game.
