Why is Rhys's echo-eye blue in the flashbacks but orange when they are telling the story? What does it mean?

(I'm not a Borderlands expert... :D)

    we don't know yet my guess is that something happens later either involving hyperion coming after them maybe they have some sort of control over it or maybe it has to do with that id that rhys inserted

    Bet it is Handsome Jack related.
    He had a Yellow and Green/blue eye iirc.
    In b4 Jack is trying to take over Rhys' body.

    I mean, his arm is different as well. Its silver or something

    I would guess it has something to do with that chip Rhy's inserted, we already see malfunctioning when he is scanning around, trying to find a way into the arena.

    You make a good point, I think that he might have gotten alot of power or at least money since both him and Fiona have new fancy clothes. Rhys might have gotten an upgrade to his echo-eye that makes it orange, and probably also gives it some sort of new power.
