LOL visits to the beach must be torture for you guys then.
Hey now, seeing Elaine in a bikini wouldn't bother me. The fact that someone actually took the time to put her in a bikini does. Also, what's with the one that needs a censor!!!!????!?!??!??!!?
I see nothing wrong with a tasteful bikini picture... If it was full frontal nudity or even topless I could see some reason for concern.... To me it is no more shocking than seeing Guybrush in a pink dress or when his pants fall down and we see his undies in the second game...
I still don't think you see my point, lol. If those pictures had been in game I would have zero problem with them. It's the fact that someone went out of their way to draw that. Not a huge deal, just kind of strange I guess.
I can't believe anyone is offended by cartoony bikini pictures
I think you guys are missing the point. Even with the "censored" bar, the nudity is still there. When have you ever seen censor bars in a children's cartoon? I think these pictures should either be in their own clearly labelled thread or in a completely different forum.
Here are some examples of why this could be bad:
1. A Telltale employee decides to show their child fan art because they are begging for more Monkey Island goodness, unaware (and why should they be) that there are pictures of an adult nature.
2. One of those people who likes to sue others to get filthy rich, decides to sue LucasArts over the Monkey Island fan art that is "accepted" on this forum. LucasArts prevents TellTale from ever working on a Monkey Island game again and is forced to scrap the project.

And why is Elaine's bikini so skimpy anyway ¬_¬
The main problem with our society is that we consider the human body something of "adult nature". Why can't children see naked bodies? They're exposed to twice (or nth should I day) more violent content that apparently isn't as offending/dangerous as seein a nipple or a naked torso.

Opinion.
What isn't an opinion is Telltale's forum policy on what can and can't be posted. I'm not trying to be a moderator or anything. But America's "problem" with the human body is simply a communal decision amongst the countrymen that they want the image of the body censored before the age of eighteen. This is a forum for games. If you want porn or nude women go find a porn forum. Will you absolutely DIE if it's NOT posted on these forums?
EDIT: so yeah, we should go back to fan art. I offer a compromise that such images can be posted with a warning maybe for those who would be offended? I myself am not offended by it but but only care how Telltale feels.
Anyway, it's just harmless fun, nothing more, nothing less. This is a fictional character. FICTIONAL CHARACTER. It's to me a bit like being offended of Donald Duck's lack of pants.
Micki found it fun to pose the character a bit... just a bit suggestive. Not pornographic. I decided to drop the censor bars, because there was really nothing to see there. 10 pixels more of a curve, that's about it. And even if you'd really consider this the equivalent of skin, you'll still see more nude skin when you look at a girl in a bikini.
The pic is just made out of my head, i have never actually played Monkey Island, i did play MI3 though, i'm still somewhere in the middle of it though, haven't yet seen a 3 headed monkey in the games... But armakuni suggested it to me, so i just made up random expressions in some funky looking style...
[edit:] i was just told it's only appearing in one of the games :O
I just don't want people to think i'm a tasteless person, so it's not really my depiction of things, since i don't know half of it to begin with
I should get into the first two games already  The first is available as a remake i recall, dunno where to look for the second, i'll get to that someday though...
The plot seems a bit disappointing, since almost none of the characters are new, and the whole thing takes place on Melee Island (again!). The puzzles, on the other hand, are logical enough that I was able to figure them out without knowing a word in Italian.
Now, the graphics... Oh boy, the graphics.
Take a look at LeChuck's Fortress:
Isn't that design amazing? Here's LeChuck himself:
In case you didn't realize by now, I'm in love with Sergio's style, and the way he reimagines those characters while still being faithful to their essence.

Oh, I almost forgot Guybrush:
So, what do you think?
I do like the forest picture, but somehow it looks more like Simon the Sorceror than Monkey Island. I think I'll try it out and see how it feels.

To be honest, most of my praise was directed at the sprites and the imagination behind the sailing fortress. The backgrounds are decent for a fangame, but unlike the characters, they would be out of place in a commercial product, even back in the early 90s.

I gave it a shoot. What can I say? If I was an Italian, I would know what to do for today : ) The game seems monkeyislanish enough to be worth playing.
Can't say anything about the plot, cause I can hardly understand what's in my inventory (sugar, grog recepie, melasa, some flower, two cups, bamboo stick some more stuff) not to mention any line of dialog. Shame. Shall I write a petition to make author translate it to English? : )
Backgrounds are beautyful. Characters are rather ugly (especially Guybrush), but I don't care that much - all I need is to recognise them ; )
Shame I can't enjoy it, but it's pointless to play an adventure I can't understand...

I tried it out; I loved the music and some of the backgrounds are quite nice, but the blur effect made some of them really ugly. The game has atmosphere, and I liked most of the sprites. But I didn't like Stan or the Voodoo Lady. Honestly, it's not a bad start. The story seems to have something to do with a "tempo" and Guybrush and LeChuck are sent back in time for some reason. Not a bad effort.
It also appears in EMI, but i don't remember when. Maybe when H.T. is telling his story.
The Three Headed Monkey also appears in EMI in the monkey village, if you wait long enough on the screen where you can see the whole village. He passes through the door of the hut on the right side of the screen. Waiting for him can be very, very long, though.

Well, I didn't see the Three Headed Monkey that way. But I clearly remember I actually saw the three headed monkey in EMI. Even more, I remember it was a 3D three headed monkey on a "Carnival of the Damned" 2D background, taken directly from CoMI. It was a non-interactive sequence, and then I suppose it was when H.T. tells his continuity-killing story.

EDIT: Also, 200 posts! Woot!
Anyway, the next one won't be a bikini picture... and it's great
I hope he'll post it soon.

Here's a warning while i'm at it: Pic below contains a skirt peeping three headed monkey
I even put it into a thumbnail, so that it has to be clicked on to be properly seen...
Armakuni gave me this silly idea btw, haha...
it was a college project ^^ this was a few months b4 tales come out I added the new LeChuck but its not on a canvis at the moment so cant get gd pic
My word…I think your depiction of the illusive three-headed monkey is rather tasteless!
Those are some pretty sweet drawing skills, though.
MonkeyMania:
I like what you did with that guy's beard!

Maybe if Al Lowe designed the game
Sergio did the graphics for Return to Monkey Island, a fangame demo which can be downloaded from here - http://returntomi.altervista.org/rmi_setup1.1.exe

It appears in two of the games if you count the robot version in CMI.

John Travolta should play Guybrush in Monkey Island THE MOVIE!!

lol i think your the third person to mention that it looks like John Travolta
I actually used Zach Braff as reference from this photo: http://l.yimg.com/l/tv/us/img/site/78/64/0000037864_20070216115811.jpg
I really feel he could pull off a awesome guybrush ifb the chance was ever given to him.
Hehe it really does not that it is bad at all, i think John Travolta is a good actor, very nice drawing indeed.
