I personally don't mind it in the slightest if it's a little fantasy-ish like Spinner Cay. I mean the whole Monkey Island world doesn't have to consist of purely piratey places. I would actually like to see the fanatasy element enter the MI world a little, not entirely take over, but just be included a little more - which is what I see in this picture; a blend of classic MI locations as well as some fantasy.
Like I said, I think it's mainly just the colors that made it look non-Monkey Islandish, but I still think it's a wonderful drawing.
Cirolmo, I am excited about whatever you draw next!
That drawing is out of this world brilliant but I see less Monkey Island and more expect some fairies to come out of hiding. But it's beautifully done, completely flawless. It all fits together.
My version of original MI2 Guybrush without pixels.
Actually pretty nice, but you ignored the pixel aspect ratio of the sprite (the pixels in MI2 weren't square but rectangular), which makes him look too short.
Thank you Laserschwert, you’re right.
By the way... Do you know how much percentage should I stretch the pixels in height axis so I can have the exact proportion?

That would be exactly 120% of the original height.

That is awesome!
I really wish they would have gone this direction with the Special Editions and tried to replicate the look of the original sprites rather than coming up with new character designs. Ah, well.

It's based off of the Guybrush from the original box cover, with some elements of the special edition concepts mixed in.
Only CMI Guybrush can pull that off.
Your work is very clean.
You find babies' feet sexy?:(
Well not really, that was in the morning...:)
