A little confused

Who is Zer0 and why is he helping them? Who was that at the ending that said "and then i will probably kill you" Where are the other two? Who is kidnapping them?

The hell i am so confused.

    Zer0 is a vault hunter, but rather than looking for a vault, what he truly want is a challenge, if he can earn some cash and weapon along the way the better. He probably knows that the main characters aren't bandits or so long as they don't stand in his quest, there is nothing to fear from him.

    The guy at the end is Handsome Jack or at least an AI of him. He was the antagonist of Borderlands 2. If you are wandering why he is there. Rhys accidentally uploaded him into his mechanics, when they used the deceased crazy doctor's Hyperion ID in order to track the money.

    I don't know which other two, you are asking about.

    And regarding the kidnapper, we don't know who he or she is. But he/she knows about the Gortys Project which is about a vault key of immense value. We will probably find out in later episodes

    First, Zer0 was only KINDA helping them; he just bumped into the MCs 2-3 times to inadvertently save them. We could've died, and he probably wouldn't have enough fucks to give.

    Now the guy who's captured the MCs is a new character, I think.

    Yeah i guess but why did he help them anyway so i thought they had some connections in previous Borderlands. Maybe by helping them he was helping himself, who knows :D

    The holografic guy who say "and then i will probably kill you" was handsome Jack, the borderlands 2 final boss. I dont know either who is the guy who kidnapped them. And Zero was one of the four playable character in borderlands 2, he is a assassin who like difficult chalenge (exemple:fiding a vault) and nobody know who or what he really is. And I think he helped Rhys and Fiona only because they were in his way and because they were not bandits.

    Not trying to sound like a dick, but try to listen to what Zero says when he is on screen. Zero's main objective is looking for the Gorty's project (intel was probably given by Mad Moxxi the sexy voice Zero is talking to at the end) and it seemed Zero thought Bossanova (the dubstep bandit) knew where it was. As it turns out Bossanova didn't know anything about it, but coincidently had his base/chariot race arena right on top of the secret Atlas labs that held information on the Gorty's project (which is what our main characters discover). Since Zero along with the other vault hunters already opened 2 very important vaults on Pandora, I guess the Gorty's project (which may lead to another vault) would be their next big thing to discover.

    Well, he is friendly to them, what with saying "thanks" and giving the <3 to Rhys if you tell him he's cool. Compared to most people on Pandora, I feel like that counts as being thoughtful, caring, and helpful.
