Mac vs iPad/iPhone version

I am interested in this game, but can't decide whether to get the Mac/Steam version or the iPad/iPhone one.
Anyone tried/experienced both care to comment on which is better/worse?

Telltale Games run better on PC/Mac than any other platform. I know this despite me playing this game on Xbox 360.

Don't purchase any telltale game on mobile unless you have no other choice.
