If you could recommend a person for moderator?
As said before we need new mods, and I thought I heard that we were getting new ones. This is a thread where you can list some people you think would be a good mod and why. Of course the chances of them being mod is like 0.01% but it would be cool to see who you guys think should have a spot up there. Mods are pretty much volunteers that survey the forum and keep the peace I guess. They help people out, and they're very respectful, nice, and calm people. They have proper grammar, and try their best to keep the forum peaceful. They do not work for Telltale, they just help out on the forum. So uh. I would suggest you don't vote yourself. Maybe like three people, the first one being the one you think deserves it the most.
This is supposed to be a fun thing, so don't take it too seriously, and don't be mad/sad if you're not on someone's list.

This is a great question but I'm not sure, So many people are nice and caring here but separating personal matters from other stuff is important and so many people here are passionate for what they believe in but I'm not sure if they could separate that from other stuff, You guys are Awesome
I agree that everyone is awesome. I'm not so sure myself, I haven't made my list yet because of it.
Yes, you heard it from me and I'm pretty sure that Telltale has already chosen but to hell this should be fun.

Basing off who is most active:
Shubbalubbadingdong- awesome guy great to be around, respects everyone's opinion, is usually pretty active being on usually around once a day, and always has good conversations, usually keeps an eye one all the game boards on here.
JamesDalton1995- a heck of a hard worker, usually on once a day, tries to respect everyone's opinions, nice guys to and devilishly handsome, tries to be active in atleast a few topics on each board.
Hmm...maybe Jewfreeus? He seems like a pretty chill dude, is pretty active, respects others opinions, seems awesome to be around and nice to talk too, usually hang around each board.

1.WarpSpeed Seems like the kind of guy that would fit the role. He's been here for a while, but I don't know if he's into the new games, however he has fairly good posts, very respectful, and a person I could see as mod, who I could trust, and would take care of the forum, probably more in the Telltale Talk section. Has a good head on his shoulders, and I just have this feeling that he would be a good moderator.
2.Lingvort It's hard to explain. It's that feeling I get. I just feel like Lingvort would be good with the role. It's probably just me but when I think about things(In this case moderators) there are people that I can associate the word with. Lingvort is one of those people. I don't know much about him, but this guy is pretty cool, and chill. He posts really good, and I'd like to see a lot more of him, maybe in mod action? XD
3.Viva-La-Lee I like how he carries himself, and the things he says. I've seen him around when I first joined and I looked up to him, as one of the celebrities beside GOUSTTTT, and SaltLick305. But Viva in my opinion, is mod material. I like his attitude!
I was actually going to edit and put an honorable mention for him. But I agree, he's definitely one of the people I considered.
I still claim @fallandir would be a good mod.
Really? Well either way, still a good choice for mod. Probably would have been 4th on my list. But I'm only doing 3.
I'm pretty sure fallandir is a she, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for your vote of support, but I'm happier in the normal user role. As you said, I haven't gotten into the new games enough.

While I appreciate the thought, I'd rather stay a normal user for a while. Not to mention that my recent altercation with Viva-La-Lee has shown (although there were different factors involved) that I can lose my cool, after all. Maybe it's just one time occurrence that can happen with anyone, but I don't really know. Not to mention that I'm pretty lazy ass that would lag behind his moderator duties if I would ever by chosen as one. We also have to remember that a good moderator candidate has to have a clean slate, so to speak. So far, I've been banned twice.
Jewfreeus seems like a very chill dude, I know you guys rather have robot like mods who are 100% objective to subjects but I think he is a good example of someone having an opinion while remaining calm and respectful.
I like @AllThatRemains as a mod as well because she's kind, brave, intelligent, and rude comments don't bring her down easily.

I'd recommend a transition from community-sourced mods to hired mods.
So, no-one from here.
Telltale needs to start realising that as her company becomes bigger, she must adapt her community management with more direct control and hence more direct interaction with fans.
The change needs to happen, and now is as good a time as any.

I'm a she, and thanks for the nice words guys. If you asked me, I'd point to @Bokor, @dojo32161 @Belan, @Green613 or @Raging himself. Damn, plenty of people would fit great as a mod. And I think you CC are doing pretty good job around here too.
Oh, also, do we need new community mods? The modding has been fine for the last month and a half, and we've had the same number for most of the past year.

You're right, it's not a critical situation, forum's holding up fairly steady. I think this thread was created out of curiosity, that's all.
We've been discussing this internally for a while now, and will pick from the choices that we've been discussing once that happens. I'm going to close this thread since it's getting a bit heated discussing the merits of individual members, and the choosing of moderators of the forums should remain an internal matter. Thanks for the concern, though like Flog said, we're managing pretty good for now, so there's no immediate worry.
