Episode 3 – Death Among Us (Part 1/6)I sat on the ground, scraping my piece of pink chalk around the cement, trying to draw a big flower. I look up and glance at the tall sign that says ‘Travelier Motel’ on it. I look to my side and give a small smile at the sight. Lee is talking to Kenny. He glances at me and returns the smile and nodding before going back to his conversation.
It’s been about 2 months since I met Lee, I think. I never was that good with math, but that was just an esti- estim-I can’t remember how to say that word!
I decided to continue drawing on the cement, chalk getting all on my fingertips. I then hear someone walking towards me from behind. I look and see that it’s Lilly with something in her hand. She looks at Kenny for a second and then back at me, the grim look on her face transforming into a smile when she looks at me. She crouches down to my level.
“Hey Clementine.” She says.
“Hi Lilly.” I say smiling back. She then proceeds to show me what she has in her hand.
“I found these a little while ago. They might be good for sleeping, you know, so you can tie your hair up when you want to.” She said. She had two pink hair ties in her hand. I look at her for permission, and she just smiles, so I take them.
“Thanks, Lilly!” I say smiling.
“No problem.” She said smiling back. She then stood up and took a deep breath, before going to grab her rifle. She climbed on top of the van and sat on a lawn chair at the top, keeping watch like she always did. I looked at the hair ties in my hand. Even though they were something very small, I appreciated them greatly.

The hot sun beat down on us as we walked, with me in front. Lilly had a gun to my back, just in case I tried anything. I looked to my left once again and Sam returned the worried glance. Another man had come from behind her and had held her at gunpoint just like Lilly did to me. They were now taking us to Dom’s place. This wouldn’t go down well, the last time my whole group was captured, a lot of people ended up dead. I let out a long sigh. I hadn’t told Lilly about Kenny, she didn’t even seem to know he was alive yet. I decided to keep it a secret for now, in fear that it would make this whole thing worse.
“Lilly, you don’t have to do this.” I said to her I heard her breaths right behind my back.
“Just keep walking.” She said. I didn’t know if I had actually heard any pity in her voice.
Soon we arrived at Dom’s community. It was a pretty big place, with man-made buildings around out of wood and cement. A single tall watch tower stood in the middle of it all. Lilly and the other man started to escort us to a building near the very edge of the community. I look around as we walked past many men and women, either working or ordering others. Eventually, we reached the building. I turned around to look at Lilly, who was trying not to look into my eyes. I guess she was feeling some pity after all.
She didn’t say a word to me, all she did was open the only door in the front of the building, push me and Sam in, and then proceeded to lock it. After she did, I heard the scratchy voice of the van that had caught Sam say “Dom will see you soon!” Then all that was left was silence.
I turned around once again to face everyone. I saw Abraham, Vivienne, Ronald, Quinton, Luis, Priscilla, but no Kenny or AJ.
“Where’s Kenny and the baby?!” I blurted out.
“Calm down, kid, he’s right here.” Abraham said, rolling his eyes. He was in a very pissed off mood.
Relief flushed over my body when Kenny stepped out of the corner with AJ in his arms.
“Clementine!” I exclaimed, before moving fast towards me. I couldn’t help but smile as I embraced him and AJ. The hug last a couple of seconds before we broke apart, with him smiling at me.
“I hate to break up the lovely reunion, but we’ve gotta get the hell out of here.” I heard Vivienne say. Kenny sighed.
“She’s right, we can’t let them do anything more to us.” Kenny said as he looked around the room, I scanned the room too, seeing no doors or windows except the front one that was steel and locked shut. The walls were made of hard cement.
I looked at Kenny, seeing him rack his own brain for any ideas. I don’t think he knew about Lilly…

I decided not to tell Kenny about Lilly for now, there was no need for it at the moment. He looked at me again.
“Clem, you got any ideas?” He asked me. I opened my mouth to speak, but Abraham started talking loudly once again.
“What the hell is she gonna do?” He said. Kenny gritted his teeth and looked over at him.
“Just…Shut up. Where are your ideas?” He said, keeping in his temper.
“We’re stuck in here, there’s definitely no way out of this. I say the next time that door, we take their guns and shoot ourselves out of this place.” Abraham replied. Kenny chuckled.
“Some fuckin’ plan.” He says. Abraham gritted his teeth back at him.
“I never said it was a good plan.” He replied. Kenny snorted and then looked back at me.
“What do they want with us, anyway?” Priscilla asked to no one really in particular.
“Don’t know, but we’re gonna find out.” Quinton said.
“I just wanna find Herman and then get the hell out of here.” Luis says as he looks at Sam worriedly.
“Herman? Who’s Her-“ Kenny starts, but he is cut off by the large, steel door being unlocked and swung open. Six men, all carrying AK-47’s, pointed their guns at all of us. Then another man walked into the room. I felt a ping of annoyance when I saw who it was, signified by his trademark douchebag smirk. It was Stan.
“Boss wants to see you all, c’mon. I’m sure you all wanna get out of this shithole by now.” He says. I sigh as the men start to push all ten of us out the door, some behind us and some in front. Kenny looks me in the eyes and then hands me AJ.
“What the fuck do you want with us?!” Abraham exclaims suddenly, if felt really out of character to see him just freak out like that Stan turns to him.
“To be honest, I don’t know. The boss will tell ya.” Stan said. Abraham growls at the non-answer.
Soon, we were led into the main building of the community. It had a very high up ceiling and was almost as tall as the watch tower. We were told to stand in a straight line, shoulder to shoulder. I still had AJ in my arms. I was right between Kenny and Priscilla.
We stood there in awkward silence, waiting for something to happen. The guards stood around us, just looking for an opportunity to shoot.
The silence was broken when a man was carried in from the back door of the building by two guards. The man looked very scared and nervous, and looked to be around 20 years old. Another man came out of a small room to the left of us. He was tough looking. He had small scars around his face that you could only see if you looked very closely. The only truly noticeable one was a straight one right under his left eye. He had a brown leather jacket on, with large black boots. He had a goatee and dark hair that was starting to turn gray. He looked to be around fifty years old. By my guess, he was the infamous Dom.
Dom didn’t even look at us as he walked over to the nervous looking man. I noticed that he was holding something, but it was covered by his sleeve.
He scowled at the nervous looking man. The man stood up from the ground and gulped, trying to talk but his voice cracked.
“Speak up boy.” Dom said with a chilling whisper.
“I-I…I didn’t catch them, they were too fast…” The man finally manages to let out.
“So you let them escape?” Dom says sinisterly.
“N-No sir! They were just too fast…” The man answers back, beads up sweat now visible on his forehead. Dom let out a breath through his nose that sounded like a laugh.
“Too fast, huh?” Dom said, then he pulled out what was under his sleeve. It was a pair of very sharp silver scissors. “Is this too for ya?”

I couldn’t help but gasp. The man’s lifeless body now rested in a large pool of his own blood. “Clean this up.” He ordered the guards. They pulled out rags while others started to carry the body out the back door. Once they were outside, I heard a shot. It was probably the guards shooting the man in the head to prevent him from turning.
Dom then turned to us with a cold stare. I felt Kenny’s hand tightly clench into a fist at my side while Priscilla trembled a little to my other side. AJ didn’t look happy, but he wasn’t crying thankfully.
“Well? Any questions?” Dom said. I was surprised at what he said. We were all silent.
“Hmph, well, I’ll answer the one question you all probably want to hear right now.” He continued. He opened his mouth to talk again, but then he reconsidered what to say.
“You know what, why do you think I want you here, hm?” Dom said. Kenny spoke up then.
“You want us to work around this community, don’t you?” Kenny said. Dom chuckled a little.
“A good guess, tough guy. But your wrong. And since you were the first to talk, You’ll be the first contestant!” Dom said. We all looked at him weirdly. What the hell did he mean by “Contestant”?
Then AJ started to cry. I whispered “Sh sh.” To him, but he was just crying hysterically. Dom looked at me.
“And we have our second contestant. But the baby can’t talk, so I guess we’ll resort to the lovely, young girl that is holding it.” Dom said. His voice was like a chilling whisper again.
“What…What the fuck are you talking about?” Kenny said.
“You’ll see.” Dom replied, and then he gestured to the guards, saying “Bring them in!”
Seven guards were still in the room. They dispersed, with four going to the left and three going to the right. I looked at everyone’s faces. Quinton, Priscilla, Ronald, and Sam all looked scared. Vivienne, Abraham, and Kenny all looked angry. As for me, I was nervous and confused.
After two minutes that felt like two years, The guards from the left came with three walkers, carrying them with ropes around their necks. To the left, the four other guards that included Stan had brought in three people.
The first was a man with red hair and the beginnings of a beard. The second was a shorter woman with olive skin and dark hair. The third was a boy that looked a little younger than me. He had a blue jacket on and also had dark skin.
They must be a family. The woman and boy looked scared out of their minds. The man had a grim but nervous look on his face.
“Now that we’re all here, let’s get this started!” Dom said. With the scissors still in his hand, he gestured for Kenny to step forward. Kenny resisted and just shot back a hateful look at him, but two of the guards pushed him. Then another two came behind me. As they were pushing me forward, I hand AJ to Priscilla, giving her a worried look. She returned the looked and then proceeded to try and calm down AJ.
Kenny was forced to stand a few feet away from the family. Three guards had were behind him with their guns pointed at him. The family had the other three guns pointed at the family while had his gun pointed at the rest of our group.
Dom suddenly spoke again, almost in a chilling whisper. “This is why we captured you. For…Entertainment.” He said. My eyes widened at the craziness of the situation too. I heard gasp behind me as some of the guards laughed.
“I’m going to release these walkers, one on one eye and three on that lovely family you see there. You have only a matter of seconds to choose who you’re going to help before they all die.” Dom said, then giving me a chilling smile. I was stuck in my place, not knowing what to do. Kenny looked at me with worry as well as frustration in his eye while the family looked scared out of their minds. The man stood in front of his family, getting ready to shield them from the walkers.
“If any of you try anything, You’re all dead!” Dom yelled, his voice echoing throughout the building. I couldn’t handle this anymore, and then all of the sudden tears started to stream down my face.
“Please, don’t do this!” I said. I had never pleaded so much before in my life.
“You better make your decision now!” Dom screamed at me. I could feel more tears welling up in my eyes. This was impossible decision to make. The man I had been with since the start of all of this, or a scared family?
I had no more time to think as the guards cut the ropes around the walker’s necks. Two walked towards Kenny while the two others walked towards the family. The woman screamed, shouting her husbands name. “Randy!”
Kenny was powerless and so was the family. Kenny looked at me. I could see his anger welling up inside of him, but also the sadness. I don’t know if I could leave him, but I couldn’t let that family die!
Tears were still falling down my face, soon I started to sob uncontrollably. The walkers were very close now. AJ started to cry hysterically again from behind me, as if he could sense what was happening.
I had to make this impossible decision now, or everyone would be dead.

Episode 3 – Death Among Us [Part 3/6] There wasn’t any more time to think about it, so I made my decision, but I don’t know if I was happy with it. It felt like a wave of force pushing me in a direction I wasn’t even sure of.
With tears still in my eyes, I dashed towards the family of three, but I was still glancing worriedly at Kenny. It just made me sob more.
Through the tears, I clenched my fist and kicked the first walker in the knee that was grabbing for the boy. When he was down, I started to slam my foot into it’s head, crushing it’s rotting skull. I then saw the father of the family do the same. He looked at me in thanks before making sure that his family was okay.
I barely looked at him, I immediately turned to Kenny. As soon as I did, he screamed my name in finality. I sobbed even more when Kenny tried to fight off the two walkers that were now on top of him, one at his right side and one directly on top.
“Clementine!” Kenny screamed louder again. I didn’t think twice anymore, I dashed for Kenny.
But I couldn’t go any farther. I felt a strong hand on my chest, holding me back from Kenny. I looked up quickly and saw it was Stan who was stopping me from helping some of the only family I had left.
“No! Kenny!” I screamed. After even more struggling, I couldn’t help it anymore. I fell to my knees, sobbing. I felt a feeling that I hadn’t felt ever since Lee died.
My crying was cut off when Dom started to laugh a little. I pushed myself to look up at Kenny one more time, but something wasn’t exactly right.
There was no blood anywhere, only the disgusting oder of the walker. Two guards grabbed ahold of the walkers. I then noticed it. The walkers had no teeth, just their blackened gums. They also had no nails. Some fingers where even cut off as a whole.
Kenny was hoisted up by two other guards. He was unharmed, just had the stench of the walkers all over him. He looked at me sadly. I was relieved that he was okay. I really thought that I had lost him.
“Well, I see the little girl would rather save a family than save her friend.” Dom said. He then walked over to Kenny. Kenny snarled after wiping his eyes.
“It seems her loyalty isn’t as…Firm as you’d like it to me, mister mullet.” Dom said, and then smiled.
“You motherfucker…” Kenny muttered under his breath. He was trying to look at me past Dom’s face, but Dom just got closer. Dom cracked a smirk, and then suddenly lifted his fist up and slammed it into the side of Kenny’s face. Kenny fell to the floor, his hand on his cheek.
“Bring him to my office and tie him up. I’ll be with him later.” Dom said as Stan past by mean with trhee of the other guards to lead Kenny out of the building. He still tried to look at me, but he wasn’t allowed. Dom turned back to us and clasped his hands.
“Well, tonight you guys have got the pit.” Dom said. My eyes widened, having an idea of what “The pit” was.
Dom and the guards let out some more small laughs. “You maniac!” Ronald exclaimed from behind me.
“Well, I’m certainly looking forward to it.” Dom said. “Take them back to the waiting room.”
The guards grabbed me and the rest of the group, still holding us at close gunpoint. The family of three was now being brought with us.
Soon we heard thrust back into the room with cement walls and barely any air. As soon as we got back in, Priscilla handed me back AJ, who was calmed down a little bit more. I went across the room from everyone else, sitting down with my back against the wall. I was silent, not wanting to talk to anyone. AJ was alert but quiet at the same time. My stomach grumbled as I realized I hadn’t eaten in a very long time.
Then I heard someone walk up in front of me. I looked up and saw that it was the family I had saved. The man stepped up.
“Hey. I’m Randy, and this is Patricia and Gill. We just wanted to say how thankful we are.” Randy said.
“S-sure.” I said, nodding and stumbling on my words. The family gave me a sad looked before going to their own part of the room.
I look and see Priscilla looking at me from across the room. I look back at her sadly and then look back down at AJ.
“We’re gonna be okay, AJ. We are…” I said on the verge of more tears. I felt drowsy, hungry, sad, and even angry all at the same time. I wondered if I should sleep, despite having to lay on the cold, hard ground. But what if Kenny or Dom’s men came back? The worries of Kenny no longer being alive scared me. I sighed and though about what I would do.

I stepped into the room, the door being shut and locked behind me and Sam. The rest of the group was in the room...Except Kenny and AJ.

Dom finished his speech, and then ended it by shooting someone in our group. I looked on in horror as I saw the person fall to the floor, dead on impact.

"Please Dom! I swear, It was a bad mistake! I-" The man was cut off when Dom suddenly stuck a pair of scissors inside his through. he gurgled on his own blood as Dom ripped it back out, pieces of flesh coming out with it.

Kenny had a face of wild rage on. He looked at Lilly, knowing he may be only only moments away from death. Then he looked at me, his one eye showing sadness and frustration.

"Make your choice now!" Dom screamed at me. I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes, not knowing what to do. This was an impossible decision to make.

Priscilla looked at me from across the room with a very sad expression. I started to sob again, albeit trying to keep myself calm. "It's okay, AJ. We-we're going to be okay." I said while crying.

Shows Kenny and Lilly arguing back at the Motel, with young Clementine watching with worried eyes

Shows Kenny and Jane fighting and struggling on the ground with Clementine crying a few feet away from them, her gun pointed at Kenny, but unwilling to pull the trigger

Shows Clementine watching as Kenny lunges for Dom and Lilly, but is then pulled back roughly by two armed men. Dom looks at Clementine and gives her a slight smile

"I'll never do it! I will never kill Kenny!" Clementine yells. She holds AJ, standing in front of the gun she had just dropped at Dom's feet. Dom smiled.
Dom bent down and picked up the gun, walking to Kenny, who was on the ground. That's when Kenny lunged up at Dom, tackling him back to the ground, despite all of the guards with heavy machine guns all around them.

Clementine, Priscilla, Vivienne, Abraham, Luis, and Sam saw an opening. They took it, but on the otehr side, Dom and his men were waiting.
Dom smiles before saying "Kill them all." The men start firing into the group, hitting two people before they can run to cover like the rest.

Episode 3 – Death Among Us (Part 1/6) I sat on the ground, scraping my piece of pink chalk around the cement, trying to draw a big flower. I look up and glance at the tall sign that says ‘Travelier Motel’ on it. I look to my side and give a small smile at the sight. Lee is talking to Kenny. He glances at me and returns the smile and nodding before going back to his conversation.
It’s been about 2 months since I met Lee, I think. I never was that good with math, but that was just an esti- estim-I can’t remember how to say that word!
I decided to continue drawing on the cement, chalk getting all on my fingertips. I then hear someone walking towards me from behind. I look and see that it’s Lilly with something in her hand. She looks at Kenny for a second and then back at me, the grim look on her face transforming into a smile when she looks at me. She crouches down to my level.
“Hey Clementine.” She says.
“Hi Lilly.” I say smiling back. She then proceeds to show me what she has in her hand.
“I found these a little while ago. They might be good for sleeping, you know, so you can tie your hair up when you want to.” She said. She had two pink hair ties in her hand. I look at her for permission, and she just smiles, so I take them.
“Thanks, Lilly!” I say smiling.
“No problem.” She said smiling back. She then stood up and took a deep breath, before going to grab her rifle. She climbed on top of the van and sat on a lawn chair at the top, keeping watch like she always did. I looked at the hair ties in my hand. Even though they were something very small, I appreciated them greatly.

The hot sun beat down on us as we walked, with me in front. Lilly had a gun to my back, just in case I tried anything. I looked to my left once again and Sam returned the worried glance. Another man had come from behind her and had held her at gunpoint just like Lilly did to me. They were now taking us to Dom’s place. This wouldn’t go down well, the last time my whole group was captured, a lot of people ended up dead. I let out a long sigh. I hadn’t told Lilly about Kenny, she didn’t even seem to know he was alive yet. I decided to keep it a secret for now, in fear that it would make this whole thing worse.
“Lilly, you don’t have to do this.” I said to her I heard her breaths right behind my back.
“Just keep walking.” She said. I didn’t know if I had actually heard any pity in her voice.
Soon we arrived at Dom’s community. It was a pretty big place, with man-made buildings around out of wood and cement. A single tall watch tower stood in the middle of it all. Lilly and the other man started to escort us to a building near the very edge of the community. I look around as we walked past many men and women, either working or ordering others. Eventually, we reached the building. I turned around to look at Lilly, who was trying not to look into my eyes. I guess she was feeling some pity after all.
She didn’t say a word to me, all she did was open the only door in the front of the building, push me and Sam in, and then proceeded to lock it. After she did, I heard the scratchy voice of the van that had caught Sam say “Dom will see you soon!” Then all that was left was silence.
I turned around once again to face everyone. I saw Abraham, Vivienne, Ronald, Quinton, Luis, Priscilla, but no Kenny or AJ.
“Where’s Kenny and the baby?!” I blurted out.
“Calm down, kid, he’s right here.” Abraham said, rolling his eyes. He was in a very pissed off mood.
Relief flushed over my body when Kenny stepped out of the corner with AJ in his arms.
“Clementine!” I exclaimed, before moving fast towards me. I couldn’t help but smile as I embraced him and AJ. The hug last a couple of seconds before we broke apart, with him smiling at me.
“I hate to break up the lovely reunion, but we’ve gotta get the hell out of here.” I heard Vivienne say. Kenny sighed.
“She’s right, we can’t let them do anything more to us.” Kenny said as he looked around the room, I scanned the room too, seeing no doors or windows except the front one that was steel and locked shut. The walls were made of hard cement.
I looked at Kenny, seeing him rack his own brain for any ideas. I don’t think he knew about Lilly…

Episode 3 – Death Among Us (Part 2/6)
I decided not to tell Kenny about Lilly for now, there was no need for it at the moment. He looked at me again.
“Clem, you got any ideas?” He asked me. I opened my mouth to speak, but Abraham started talking loudly once again.
“What the hell is she gonna do?” He said. Kenny gritted his teeth and looked over at him.
“Just…Shut up. Where are your ideas?” He said, keeping in his temper.
“We’re stuck in here, there’s definitely no way out of this. I say the next time that door, we take their guns and shoot ourselves out of this place.” Abraham replied. Kenny chuckled.
“Some fuckin’ plan.” He says. Abraham gritted his teeth back at him.
“I never said it was a good plan.” He replied. Kenny snorted and then looked back at me.
“What do they want with us, anyway?” Priscilla asked to no one really in particular.
“Don’t know, but we’re gonna find out.” Quinton said.
“I just wanna find Herman and then get the hell out of here.” Luis says as he looks at Sam worriedly.
“Herman? Who’s Her-“ Kenny starts, but he is cut off by the large, steel door being unlocked and swung open. Six men, all carrying AK-47’s, pointed their guns at all of us. Then another man walked into the room. I felt a ping of annoyance when I saw who it was, signified by his trademark douchebag smirk. It was Stan.
“Boss wants to see you all, c’mon. I’m sure you all wanna get out of this shithole by now.” He says. I sigh as the men start to push all ten of us out the door, some behind us and some in front. Kenny looks me in the eyes and then hands me AJ.
“What the fuck do you want with us?!” Abraham exclaims suddenly, if felt really out of character to see him just freak out like that Stan turns to him.
“To be honest, I don’t know. The boss will tell ya.” Stan said. Abraham growls at the non-answer.
Soon, we were led into the main building of the community. It had a very high up ceiling and was almost as tall as the watch tower. We were told to stand in a straight line, shoulder to shoulder. I still had AJ in my arms. I was right between Kenny and Priscilla.
We stood there in awkward silence, waiting for something to happen. The guards stood around us, just looking for an opportunity to shoot.
The silence was broken when a man was carried in from the back door of the building by two guards. The man looked very scared and nervous, and looked to be around 20 years old. Another man came out of a small room to the left of us. He was tough looking. He had small scars around his face that you could only see if you looked very closely. The only truly noticeable one was a straight one right under his left eye. He had a brown leather jacket on, with large black boots. He had a goatee and dark hair that was starting to turn gray. He looked to be around fifty years old. By my guess, he was the infamous Dom.
Dom didn’t even look at us as he walked over to the nervous looking man. I noticed that he was holding something, but it was covered by his sleeve.
He scowled at the nervous looking man. The man stood up from the ground and gulped, trying to talk but his voice cracked.
“Speak up boy.” Dom said with a chilling whisper.
“I-I…I didn’t catch them, they were too fast…” The man finally manages to let out.
“So you let them escape?” Dom says sinisterly.
“N-No sir! They were just too fast…” The man answers back, beads up sweat now visible on his forehead. Dom let out a breath through his nose that sounded like a laugh.
“Too fast, huh?” Dom said, then he pulled out what was under his sleeve. It was a pair of very sharp silver scissors. “Is this too for ya?”

Dom then turned to us with a cold stare. I felt Kenny’s hand tightly clench into a fist at my side while Priscilla trembled a little to my other side. AJ didn’t look happy, but he wasn’t crying thankfully.
“Well? Any questions?” Dom said. I was surprised at what he said. We were all silent.
“Hmph, well, I’ll answer the one question you all probably want to hear right now.” He continued. He opened his mouth to talk again, but then he reconsidered what to say.
“You know what, why do you think I want you here, hm?” Dom said. Kenny spoke up then.
“You want us to work around this community, don’t you?” Kenny said. Dom chuckled a little.
“A good guess, tough guy. But your wrong. And since you were the first to talk, You’ll be the first contestant!” Dom said. We all looked at him weirdly. What the hell did he mean by “Contestant”?
Then AJ started to cry. I whispered “Sh sh.” To him, but he was just crying hysterically. Dom looked at me.
“And we have our second contestant. But the baby can’t talk, so I guess we’ll resort to the lovely, young girl that is holding it.” Dom said. His voice was like a chilling whisper again.
“What…What the fuck are you talking about?” Kenny said.
“You’ll see.” Dom replied, and then he gestured to the guards, saying “Bring them in!”
Seven guards were still in the room. They dispersed, with four going to the left and three going to the right. I looked at everyone’s faces. Quinton, Priscilla, Ronald, and Sam all looked scared. Vivienne, Abraham, and Kenny all looked angry. As for me, I was nervous and confused.
After two minutes that felt like two years, The guards from the left came with three walkers, carrying them with ropes around their necks. To the left, the four other guards that included Stan had brought in three people.
The first was a man with red hair and the beginnings of a beard. The second was a shorter woman with olive skin and dark hair. The third was a boy that looked a little younger than me. He had a blue jacket on and also had dark skin.
They must be a family. The woman and boy looked scared out of their minds. The man had a grim but nervous look on his face.
“Now that we’re all here, let’s get this started!” Dom said. With the scissors still in his hand, he gestured for Kenny to step forward. Kenny resisted and just shot back a hateful look at him, but two of the guards pushed him. Then another two came behind me. As they were pushing me forward, I hand AJ to Priscilla, giving her a worried look. She returned the looked and then proceeded to try and calm down AJ.
Kenny was forced to stand a few feet away from the family. Three guards had were behind him with their guns pointed at him. The family had the other three guns pointed at the family while had his gun pointed at the rest of our group.
Dom suddenly spoke again, almost in a chilling whisper. “This is why we captured you. For…Entertainment.” He said. My eyes widened at the craziness of the situation too. I heard gasp behind me as some of the guards laughed.
“I’m going to release these walkers, one on one eye and three on that lovely family you see there. You have only a matter of seconds to choose who you’re going to help before they all die.” Dom said, then giving me a chilling smile. I was stuck in my place, not knowing what to do. Kenny looked at me with worry as well as frustration in his eye while the family looked scared out of their minds. The man stood in front of his family, getting ready to shield them from the walkers.
“If any of you try anything, You’re all dead!” Dom yelled, his voice echoing throughout the building. I couldn’t handle this anymore, and then all of the sudden tears started to stream down my face.
“Please, don’t do this!” I said. I had never pleaded so much before in my life.
“You better make your decision now!” Dom screamed at me. I could feel more tears welling up in my eyes. This was impossible decision to make. The man I had been with since the start of all of this, or a scared family?
I had no more time to think as the guards cut the ropes around the walker’s necks. Two walked towards Kenny while the two others walked towards the family. The woman screamed, shouting her husbands name. “Randy!”
Kenny was powerless and so was the family. Kenny looked at me. I could see his anger welling up inside of him, but also the sadness. I don’t know if I could leave him, but I couldn’t let that family die!
Tears were still falling down my face, soon I started to sob uncontrollably. The walkers were very close now. AJ started to cry hysterically again from behind me, as if he could sense what was happening.
I had to make this impossible decision now, or everyone would be dead.

Dom and the guards let out some more small laughs. “You maniac!” Ronald exclaimed from behind me.
“Well, I’m certainly looking forward to it.” Dom said. “Take them back to the waiting room.”
The guards grabbed me and the rest of the group, still holding us at close gunpoint. The family of three was now being brought with us.
Soon we heard thrust back into the room with cement walls and barely any air. As soon as we got back in, Priscilla handed me back AJ, who was calmed down a little bit more. I went across the room from everyone else, sitting down with my back against the wall. I was silent, not wanting to talk to anyone. AJ was alert but quiet at the same time. My stomach grumbled as I realized I hadn’t eaten in a very long time.
Then I heard someone walk up in front of me. I looked up and saw that it was the family I had saved. The man stepped up.
“Hey. I’m Randy, and this is Patricia and Gill. We just wanted to say how thankful we are.” Randy said.
“S-sure.” I said, nodding and stumbling on my words. The family gave me a sad looked before going to their own part of the room.
I look and see Priscilla looking at me from across the room. I look back at her sadly and then look back down at AJ.
“We’re gonna be okay, AJ. We are…” I said on the verge of more tears. I felt drowsy, hungry, sad, and even angry all at the same time. I wondered if I should sleep, despite having to lay on the cold, hard ground. But what if Kenny or Dom’s men came back? The worries of Kenny no longer being alive scared me. I sighed and though about what I would do.
