Most of the games I'm personally looking forward too are really niche (mostly JRPGs) but just to name a few, Tales of Zisteria, Persona 5, upcoming Shin Megami Tensei games, upcoming Disgaea games, upcoming Atelier games, upcoming Ar games, almost any game by XSeed, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy Type 0 and probably a few that escape me at the time.
Other games are The Witcher 3, the next Mass Effect game, Uncharted 4, and Batman Arkham Knight. There will most likely be others in the near future.
The reason I chose a PS4 was because most games I like to play and look forward to are predominately on PlayStation consoles (sometimes Nintendo portables as well), which never get released on Xbox systems (sometimes they may not even get localized outside of Japan but that doesn't stop me from importing them. ). The sole reason I bought a PS4 now rather than wait for the inevitable slim version is because Persona 5 is being ported to it which comes out later this year in Japan I think.
I currently see little value in owning a PS4 currently and one game I want is not enough for me to justify a purchase. I also don't appreciate you insulting me for whatever reason it may be. Have a nice day.

Buying both will cost someone around $1000. Just because someone doesn't want to spend that kind of money doesn't mean they are being a "cheapass".
