Agreed. I'm actually glad when old games on hard to find consoles get re-released, because new generations can experience them. But if it's coming from a system that is still around (although the seventh gen systems probably have a year or less left), then what's the point? Just buy the original game.
Can I tell you guys something that I'm sick of? Last gen games being re-released. I get it if the game came out for the N64 or something and… more it's being remade in HD, but why re-release games for consoles that aren't even obsolete yet? Seems like they're just hungry for money.
I'm excited for backwards compatibility, since I'll hopefully be getting a Windows 10 computer next year, so I'll be able to record console footage easily. Granted, it would be easier if they managed to make it possible to stream from the Xbox 360, but that probably won't happen.
At the moment I am playing through Dragon Age Inquisition again and playing some madden, but come October 13th I will be playing the witcher… more 3 over again and it's expansion. I really want to play the mass effect trilogy over again, but I'm trying to wait till they become backwards compatible for Xbox one.
By the way, did anyone watch the Gamechangers on BBC? It's about the making of Grand Theft Auto and Jack Thompson's campaign against the series in the mid-2000's.
Ehh I'm fine with it for the most part since alot of the game that get re released I never played. Though I do hate some re releases like GOTY editions of games.
