I cross my little fingers

The crowd forms a path for me to walk up to the stadium, i breathe deeply my mind is unable to think of what to do.
My eyes well up as i begin to walk and hot, warm tears slid down my cheeks and i bit my lower lip so i wont start sobbing.
I cant do this, i wont make it.. theres no way. I have no experience with these games and im only 14... I take another deep breathe. I walk up to the stadium and look at my mother collapsed on the floor crying, my older sister looks up at me. I look down at the ground and then back up to the crowd, everyone is just so bland wearing grey or white.
"I need to focus on what to do" I remind myself and my mind begins to wonder.
"Now for the boys!" Our escort smiles and they walk over to the boys bowl and pulls out a name.
"Nero Aero!" She says in a loud voice, an older male emerges he looks calm and collective.
Nero slowly walks up, he doesnt even shed a single tear. He walks up the steps beside me and looks and me and then away.
"Ladies and Gentlemen!" Our Escort yells "Our Tributes from District 3!"
Some in the crowd clap but it begins to disperse, not my mom though.. she's still crying. I turn around and shake Nero's hand, he's has a pretty strong grip.
We walk into the Justice Building and i smile at him, he gives me a half smile back.
"You need allies!" I think to myself, i know that this is true, i do need allies to survive.
After saying my farewells to my family we board a cart that takes us to the train, once we get off theres hundreds of people there to say goodbye. We board the train and go into the District 3 cart, as the train begins to move i can see the Ocean in the distance.
"District 4" i think to myself..
I turn around and see Nero is already sitting watching Television, i walk over to the edge of the cart near the District 2 Train cart, the girl in there quickly sees me and waves.
