*Fake* Theories and Opinions on "The Winter Wolf DLC" Leak -New Video-
So, most people know this by now, but lately someone on youtube known as James W has been uploading "leaked" footage of a DLC for The Wolf Among Us called the Winter Wolf.
So James W just uploaded a video a few minutes ago, saying it was fake and showing how he did it. R.I.P. The Winter Wolf. R.I.P.

Now, they do look rather believable but some people have spotted some mistakes. In the first video the start episode font is wrong and there isnt a back arrow to go back to episode 5. In the second video there is an arrow, which some people think means that he went back and fixed it. But then why wouldn't he change the start episode text aswell? The description for the second video says this
After much work, I managed to launch the game with all episodes, instead of just episode 6. However, a few seconds after the episode begins, it crashes. I'll try to get more.
So he says that he managed to launch the game to show all episodes, and not just The winter wolf. I dont know how the code works in the game, but if he is telling the truth and it is real, maybe thats why the arrow wasnt there in the first video? Although it is still odd that the text isnt correct, which almost makes me think its suppose to be that way.
The third video is almost the same as the second, just this time we have a look at Nod's Bookstore with 5 different books to choose from. The description of the third video
I managed to get a little bit further, but the game crashes again. Anyway, by the looks of it there are 5 books to choose from, possibly to read? I'll still try to get more, but like I said, half the time the game crashes.

The third video to me feels really convincing. The only thing that looks a little strange is the circles look a little blurry but it might just be because of the bad camera recording off a screen.
In my opinion, I think it looks extremely promising. Like I said, the only real flaw I see is that the text in wrong, but I still think its really strange that he wouldnt go back and fix it.

I want to believe, and that last video really does seem convincing, but I don't want to get my hopes up if it's proven to be fake. So until then, I still remain unsure. But please God, let it be real.
I really think it's fake. Any leak can look real if you put the time and effort into it (I feel the effort is missing from this one) the Rayman leak taught me anything can be done.

It's highly likely that a DLC for TWAU would require the base game to launch like TWD 400 Days so it would be impossible to launch only episode 6 and yes they still forgot to change the text from Times New Roman as Telltale would always use the same font in all their slides.
I remain undecided until TellTale or another official and reliable source confirms that it is real. However, since the release of the 3rd video, I am now leaning towards it being real...
My desire for more TWAU is getting the best of my judgement
The third one makes no sense.
It gives the location as 'outside Nod's books' and then gives us control inside the shop.
That's kinda what 400 Days did though, we see the abandoned Diner. Then cut straight to the board with the 5 pictures on it...
Yeah it is kind of weird, but we also dont know what happens after you click a book. We do see Bigby outside but thats it, maybe its just referencing him?

Yeah but the diner is the entire area around the building as well as the diner itself. If it said 'inside the diner' and then took us outside, it'd be the same.

I hope it's real. It looks like a 400 days DLC where we'll play 5 scenarios. And since they start from books, it might be origin stories. If this is real and gets released, I'm gonna play Bloody Mary's story first and save Bigby for last.
Jack Horner's, Bigby's and Snow's origins are covered completely in the comics though...
