Game Not Launching After Episode 2 Installed

I'm running 'Tales of the Borderlands' from Steam, running Windows 7 64-bit with .NET 4.5. After downloading Episode 2, the game played OK for about 2 hours, then crashed. Ever since then, the game will not launch. Clicking 'Play' the screen goes black, then after a few seconds returns to Steam / Desktop.
No error messages are shown, and only occasionally are the crashes are reported in the Windows Event Log. However, I have found Dump files in 'steamapps\common\Tales from the Borderlands' folder and have uploaded most recent of these plus results of TFTB Support Tool to SendSpace: http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/4Mtdwbt/1Ar/Jpx3L2br3tID2xOZ1DAE
Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Please help! The game was find before I downloaded Episode 2, now I can't play it.
