The Atlas Sign
In the beginning of the game there's a billboard just hanging out. It's an Atlas sign.
If you scan it, it reads something like
"Blah blah blah, Got beaten by Handsome Jack. Heh, I'm awesome."
"Last edited by HJack69, 348 days ago"
First of all, that's hilarious. Jack's username has been HJack69.
Second of all, it seems that about a year has passed between Borderlands 2 and TFTB.
And that's not even counting the possible gap inbetween when the story is being told, that could be a whole year.

It was a great touch. They didn't have to give a specific date to confirm exactly when the story took place. And I hope Jack AI does more edits to echo net entries in the future.
