Earphones or Headphones?
Here's a question ~
Which do you use? Headphones or earphones? Or maybe you exclusively carry around a boom box because you're just that much of a baller?
I use earbuds, but I'm considering getting headphones right now. What brand would be good and relatively cheap? Not Beats, none of that overrated junk. That much I know for sure.

Headphones all the way. Earphones keep falling out when I use them.
Headphones, I use earphones mostly since they're more convenient outside, but headphones are better in quality for the PC.
Headphones, earphones always seem to fall out of my ear.
Earphones ways fallout for me so Headphones.
Headphones.
Pros: More hygenic and thus can be shared, MUCH better sound, sound isolation.
Cons: Can be unconfortable if you wear it for too long (depends on the brand), the cost if you want a good product, pretty massive (this one is only a con if you go out with it, you'll have to take a bag with you if, like me, you can't keep it around your neck).
Concerning the brand, I've had a Bose for several years and I'm really happy with it. It's not stylish like Beats but it has a better sound in my opinion and it is confortable. They are pretty pricey though.
Apparently Sennheiser makes good headphones too but I've never tested them.
Earphones. Why? They are easier to carry, lighter, fit everywhere. Sometimes, I like to listen to music just with one ear, to not be completely deaf and unaware of my surroundings. And I can wear them incognito during class.
I move around a good bit and thus carry earbuds for their portability, but headphones are generally better. Sennheisers are solid.
I use headphones. I have skullcandy ones right now but they aren't the greatest I only got them because they're cheap.
I have bluetooth headphones so I usually use those.
headphones.
earphones seems to fall out of my ears
Headphones definitely! Though I had a lot of ear infections when I was a kid, so I may be overly sensitive to sticking things in my ears.
Yeah, avoid overrated things like Beats. If you have money to burn, the Bose headphones are really good but also really expensive. Otherwise, just ask the clerk for a recommendation on a good pair of noise-canceling headphones that aren't too expensive. The ones I'm using now are a brand called "Auvio", which I've otherwise never heard of, but they seem to do a decent job.
Earphones. They're portable so I can listen to music anywhere. I have small ear canals so I need adjustable pieces so that they don't fall out. Headphones always make my ears hot and I don't like that.
Headphones, Over-ear headphones are the best ones, best thing to lose yourself in music andbest thing to block out all other noises whenyou're watching a movie or playing a game, also look quite good as a fashion accesory.
Headphones for when I am using the laptop, they feel better on your ears.
earphones when I am listing to music on mp3 player or phone .
I wish I had headphones :-:
Earphones hurt my ears, and always fall out anyways. Headphones all the way.
At the moment I have a Turtle Beach P12 headset. It was like $45, it has really good sound quality though, and it gets way louder than I'd ever need it to. Plus it has a mic which is convenient for Skype. I've never had a Turtle Beach product before this, but it's light and fits comfortably over my ears so I would probably get another.
What brand do you use?
Eyephones new tech made by steven hawkingss
Both, Headphones for longer periods of time though, Ear buds are kinda uncomfortable to me
EARPHONES!! I love my pair and they were only like €3 in lidl or something but there's great sound of them and they don't break so easy
I use earphones a lot (because I listen to music on my phone a lot while I'm at school), because headphones just look really bulky and dumb if you're walking around, but I find earphones to be really unreliable (at least the type I keep buying). I'm constantly replacing them because they fall out a lot and the wires inside seem to get damaged (not long after I get a new pair, the audio doesn't come through one end).
Earphones but I don't blast my music, gotta protect my ears.
It was a bot that bumped this thread so don't blame any real users for it :P
Since this question can still generate discussion i will leave it open for people to discussthe topic, for me personally i perfer headphones as i find them more comfy.
Nah, I don't really blame anyone for it.
I just really like posting necrobump memes when an actual one is happening. :P
It's fine, sometimes people get angry when things get necrobumped and blame the first person they see post so i just wanted to point out it was a spambot that posted first but it's comment got deleted so it looked like a user bumped it.
The amusing thing the necrobump is that the spambot was advertising headphones which means they are evolving :P.
I prefer headphones, I don't really care for earphones really they hurt my ears if they stay in too long and even then they fall out most of the time anyway. Plus earphones in my opinion don't seem to last as long and seem easier to break. Headphones however seem to be more durable.
I have these, skullcandy grind its a decent set of headphones with a mic so its good for online gaming, the mic doesnt have a off switch so that sucks.
Earphones on the go. Headphones at home. I have a pair of Sony Wireless Headphones with a microphone that I use for just about everything. It works with my PS3, Sony Blu-Ray Player, and PC. At the same time it can emulate surround sound. So ya it's epic. Being i'm a big film guru, it's a cheap alternative to having a surround sound system. hehe
Earphones because they are more comfortable to use while laying in bed. Headphones are for squares.
I don't really stick to one particular way, just whatever I find fitting for the moment.
Headphones. I like using a built-in microphone.
I hate earphones, so I use headphones
Earphones are annoying and they give me headaches. So yeah, headphones are better for me, the only problem with it is probably how they are. I use headphones in bed and they are too big but it's still fine, at least it's not destroying my ears like earphones.
Headphones while using PC, earphones while using my tablet.
I use both headphones for playing games and earphones when I am listening to music on my phone.
