Hellow everyone.
Last week, I thought, man, it’s over two years since I made the Monkey Island Flash Movie. Now that Monkey Island is coming back, my motivation to do another movie about my favorite game of all time has risen extremely! Therefor, I HAVE to do another one!

And here it is. This piece of funny-stuff was made in only one week, with the help of some awesome people:
There’s Martin, who did all the backgrounds in just one day, and he made them beautifully beautiful (visit more of his work on DeviantArt!).
Then Suro, old pal, he gave his voice to the very friendly captain. Watch him explode on a DoubleFine-Tribute-Movie by us here!
And of course Andrei, aka Silverwolfpet (he’s in this forum too!), who showed with his song »Monkey in my Pocket« that he is a funny guy with awesome voice-acting-skills (please check out his Music-Video!).

This movie is for all of you Monkey Island Fans, to kill some time, to boost up the anticipation, to LOL and ROFL, to debate if the events of the Flash-Movie are actually going to happen…

And, of course, it’s a tribute to Telltale, all these guys who are working very hard and full of passion, right now, on the new Monkey Island Episodes…man, I cannot thank you enough for all this!

TellTale, LucasArts, and of course, Ron Gilbert: Thank you for Monkey Island!

Enough talkie-stuff, let’s watch some funny new Monkey Island Movie!
Greeeetings,
Majus

Okay! All of you! Yeah, and you, you too!
    Thank you very very much!
Thanks for the many nice words, it made my day totally, and it will make the following days as well, whee!

Gee, now it’s on the blog too… I’m slightly overexcited right now, whoo!

Woah, this was a fun-project I did in just a weekend. If you wonder why everything is weird: The MI-Flash-Movie made it to the finals of a contest, and a few days before the end I almost got disqualified because of copyright infringement… So I made this NON-copyright-infridngement-version of the movie, to show them how ridiculous this copyright-debate was.
And, to answer your question: I’m a little preoccupied at the time, but when theres more demand for it, I’m going to translate it somehow :)

Would you consider making one of these for each episode?

Great work, I also noticed you done a couple of Phoenix Wright ones, do you have a script of them, especially this one (http://www.majusarts.de/film/flash/phoenix_finalevidence.html) I watched it and laughed but I'd like to know what the hell is happening.

I think I can help out here.
Basicly its a most basic situation from any Phoenix Wright game.
The Judge is about to say (some random guy) is guilty, but (like in any good PW game) Phoenix manages to get into a situation where he can present one last final evidence (hence the title).
It isn't really ment to mock the games but those situations are SO often that you (as a player) don't take them as serious anymore as before. Thats basicly why we recorded this :D
Of course Majus did his animation-magic with this one as well, making it even more awesome.
    Oh! Here are the outakes.

Oh I know about that, I still love the games though despite the usual over-dramatic final evidence parts :D Pretty much the only games I praise on the DS.

    I translated this as
    very good, very good!

Time and time again it is a joy to look at your videos, you truly have it on them!

    Did I translate that correctly?

'The Screaming Narwhal' is probably the name of the ship (my guess is we need to get on the ship, that's one half of the chapter, then to make it run, second half). But, if there's a lulz-god, it will be like you envisioned. :D
