Believe me, I can understand. I'm working on some stuff for a website but can't reveal anything until at least 3AM my time because of the embargo. It sucks waiting but sometimes we do what we must to get the games that we love.
If you want to wait, I'd wait for all 5 eps first, but I actually want em one a month, makes it last longer.
If Telltale can have 8moderators on the forums now, it's not much of a leap to assume they're going to do a midnight release. I think they probably will.
Yeah I assumed a midnight release relevant to Telltale's location, but only because I have no idea what time that'd be for me so it doesn't really matter anyway :P
At this moment I'm guessing there could be some time to wait, it depends when Telltale staff are ready to flip the switch - at midnight, or when they come into the office in the morning
Checking the timestamps on my "Strong bad is out now, download" emails, (can't seem to find my S&M ones) they all seem to go out sometimes between Noon and 1PM EasternUS time. Assuming they send the emails right after they "flip the switch" That puts it at about 9-10AM their time, which makes sense.

It usually takes the server a while to send out all of the emails, but you probably got it within an hour of the game going up.
They should be working until 12 and providing support until 5. You'd only need a few people on and it's a big event. Heck, when the new GTA came out here in Australia, a store which has 3 staff (EB games here) was open at 12 - 4pm. And this is in a small country town of Australia, population 20,000.
So Telltale should have been able to pull it off. In fact, I'd feel a bit jipped if they didn't.
Uh, the retail release of a game has nothing to do with the simultaneous worldwide release of an online game...and it's not like they mislead you or anything. If you'd done any research on the release date you would have known that TTG releases games during the daylight hours of the launch, PST.
What if the activation process doesn't work? What if a server gets overloaded or goes down during the launch? There are a ton of little problems that could happen, so it would be better if TTG were awake and have the whole day to iron them out.
Besides, you waited nine years for the game, you can wait until another 8-13 hours. Just calm down and find something else to do in the meantime.
I am at my work for the next 8 hours so don't really mind the wait. :P
I can understand the people who are free of work today (or get a day off for ToMI)
I used to love the smell of the MI box, such a sweet smell, not sure why but its a really strong childhood memory. Now we just have downloads or plastic cases

Man, you complainers. It's 8:18pm on the 7th here in NZ! It'll be the 8th when it's released! I forgot about the whole +12 hours to GMT here and was all excited this morning too
Ohy did I mention that - while I have to leave for work in 12hrs, I will be reviewing this game as soon as I have access to it. Yes that means playing (AND writing) through the night. As it's 8PM now I can't imagine it'll wait much longer...

So if it's 11PM Eastern
10PM Central

8PM Pacific
So it's about 4 hours until the 7th in California.
up to 24hrs after midnight is a short time to wait considering...
