This should be fun. Anybody know any weird laws? I've got a few good ones.
In Russia, you can literally declare your ethnicity to be anything you want, even as something fictional such as a jedi or hobbit. Personally, I identify as a starship.
In Auburn, Alabama, any man that takes a woman's virginity may face up to five years in prison.
In Massachusetts, it is deemed illegal for a woman to be on top during sexual intercourse.
In New York City, honking your horn puts you at risk of being fined $350. How you manage not to honk your horn in New York City, I have no idea.

"Starships" isn't an ethnic group tho. And what do you mean "declare" ? Pretty sure most 1st world countries let you say all the crazy shit you want, else half of tumblr would be illegal.
In Ohio it is illegal to hunt whale on a Sunday. It is also illegal for more than five women to live in the same house in Ohio.
In Alabama it is punishable by death to put salt on a railroad track.
In Texas it is illegal to see ones eye. Also in Texas, When two trains meet each other at a railroad crossing, each shall come to a full stop, and neither shall proceed until the other has gone. It is illegal for one to shoot a buffalo from the second story of a hotel in Texas.
I could go on all day.
It's a joke, showing how ridiculous it is to be able to determine your ethnicity as a fictional thing or an intimate object. Determine is a better word. I should have used that.

The first arrest for "Man-spreading" has been made in New York, so I guess that's a pretty stupid law.
I forgot where, but apparently it's illegal to reincarnate when you die.
I'm not sure if it's still the case, but my Freedom and Law teacher told me in high school (back in the late 1990's) that New York still had a law on the books (from when automobiles were first manufactured) that if an automobile broke down, you had to dismantle it and hide it in the nearest bush.

I've done some research, and I think a lot of these laws aren't really taken seriously and are just temporary measures until land is bought to build a new cemetery. Either that, or they apply only to sacred or holy places on religious grounds,
Oregon:

Texas:
Many forms of male masturbation is illegal, there are few exceptions include sperm donations, which now must only be performed at a designated hospital facility otherwise is punish by two years in prison.
It is illegal to milk another person’s cow.

China:
You may only have one child, or you will have to pay a fine.
You need to go to college and must be intelligent.
Japan:
There is no age of consent.
Well, those laws may look stupid, but when you realise they were created only because someone actually tried it...
I know that, in Norway at least, the terminally ill are deported or something like that.
That is as close to a penalty as I think they have.
The cold conditions in the town of Longyearbyen in Norway (It is not illegal THROUGHOUT Norway to die; It is just there) is the reason why death is not allowed there.

You see, the pemifrost actually prevents the bodies from decomposing and thus preserves them perfectly enough that a cadaver's body had traces of influenza still on him (he died during the epidemic of 1917-18). Homestly, the reasons presented by the politicians imterviewed in that are ridiculous; "Brainwashing the minds of children" and "changing tradition". Such bullshit.
I thought that Japan did have an age of consent, albeit a very low one at a mere thirteen years of age.
