So I made a completely ridiculous connection with news about Ashley Johnson playing a 'core' character in episode 3.
So if you looked around for unused sound clips from episode 2, there are mentions that the gortys core is a robot.
Therefore, it very well may have a voice.
Gortys 'core'.
'Core' character.

    This was my impression as well. She is playing the Gortys Core.

    I really like the idea that this thing, this core we are trying to sell - or use, has a mind of it's own and might not really want to be sold, or used, or carted around with us. I think that little Gortys bot is gonna make things difficult for us next Episode. I can't effing wait!!
