in Tales from the Borderlands

So does episode 3 take place just before Borderlands The Pre-sequel start? Also is the present day after all said events?

    Yes. It takes place before the beginning of the Pre-Sequel. The present day most likely after it.

    it's basically like this:

    1. BL1
    2. Athena/Nisha/Wilhelm/best vault hunter save the moon
    3. BL2
    4. Rhys,Fiona etc hunt for the vault, they get captured by Vallory
    5. Athena gets taken to Sanctuary

    we do not know for sure wether episodes 4 and 5 or Rhys/Fiona's travel with the stranger are set after Athena is done talking

    I understand the confusion, the questionable Athena coincidence of being dragged to Lillith. It's odd. I remembered this timeline because of Jack telling us :D
