1.) Jurassic Park
Pros:
-Good performances by the main cast
-Unique and original concept
-Badass score
-Scenes with the entity were genuinely unse… morettling
-Doesn't rely on cheap jump scares most of the time
Cons:
-Characters could've been a lot more interesting
-Pacing was awkward at times
-The film doesn't end. It just sort of stops.
Not as great as the critics are making it out to be, but I'd say it's worth watching at least once.
7.5/10

Also, fuck yea to Pulp Fiction and Hot Fuzz.
Kevin Costner isn't a badass but luckily this movie hasn't taken itself too seriously and there's more comedy than I expected, I'm enjoying it so far but it's nothing that special.
Meh, I enjoyed most of it but the mom was so annoyingly cliched at the climax and I felt that the ending was kind of empty or something, idk. I would recommend if you have the time but it's nothing more than a fun family action movie.
Watching 3 Days to Kill right now...

Bronze Medal 3: Jurassic World (2015): This movie was good, it should'd another ending it would be on place 1 or 2, rating B+
Silver Medal 2: Terminator Genesys (2015): I have a bit words for it, but that was greatest tech use, A
Gold Medal goes to... Chappie (2015) This movie reveals how much good and bad things can police robots bring, But I prefer not to spoil parts of this movie, but It was awesome, rating... A+.
My top 4 fav movies 2k14 and 2k15

Any fellow fans of short animations out here?
This is my personal favourite:
The Maker
Edit: Actually, have the other one, beware the creeps.

I think it was about a cycle of history repeading itself, consecutive generations gathering all possible knowledge to pass along to the next one, in order to create something new, yet inspired by the predecessors.
What about the hourglass? These bunnies only have a short amount of time to create a new one and bring it to life. That's pretty depressing because one could potentially screw up and cause their species to go extinct.

IMO the hourglass represents the lifespan of each generation; the potential danger of their species to go extinct actually refers to real life and easy is to irremediably mess something up (industry development leads to environmental pollution, etc).

Trying to make a list of my favorite movies on IMDb, first it was top 25, now it's top 30...whenever I think I have it done, I replace something or change the order....this might take a while....
Looking for some good movies to watch and I found some that I'm kind of interested in...
- Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring is a 2003 South Korean film about a Buddhist monastery that floats on a lake in a pristine forest. The story is about the life of a Buddhist monk as he passes through the seasons of his life, from childhood to old age.
- Battle Royale is about the story of Shuya Nanahara, a junior high-school student who is struggling with the death of his father and is forced by the government to compete in a deadly game where the students must kill each other in order to win.
- From the jungles of Paraguay, Dr. Josef Mengele, the chief doctor at Auschwitz, plans the rebirth of the Nazi empire. He sends his minions to assassinate 94 men over a two year period just around the time they will turn 65 years of age. Famed Nazi hunter Ezra Lieberman gets hold of this information and isn't quite sure how killing these 65-year old men will lead to a new Nazi regime. That is, until he visits some of the dead men's families and sees their sons.
Have you heard of a Chinese film called To Live? I watched it in 10th grade because my history teacher taught us about the Great Leap Forward movement that took place during the 50's-60's (i think) in China. It's about a wealthy man who loses everything due to excessive gambling. It's actually a really depressing movie because so much shit happens to this guy. Can't help but feel bad for him.

Shit man it was hard for me to make my list because there are so many good movies! I'm assuming the one you showed me is still the same as your IMDB one?

Mostly yeah, except I've switched a few things around and the list is at 30 favs right now but ill probably find some excuse to add another 5 or 10 lol.

Didn't watch it yet :P but I probably will tomorrow or something and To Live seems interesting, guess I have another one to check out
Watched Man Of Steel yesterday. The movie does have its flaws and I believe it was rushed but I really enjoyed it. You should really watch it if you're looking forward to Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice since those two movies take place in the same universe. - 8/10
The Dark Knight is easily the best super hero movie from both dc and marvel. Great dark theme and outstanding performances. - 10/10
"The Dark Knight Rises" is a very satisfactory ending to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. The movie might not be as good as the second one, but I still loved it. Dark, epic and sad. 9.5/10

The concept of something that is constantly following you and you can't stop it is pretty scary to me. It's just walking towards you... MENACINGLY!
Also, that review would fit better in the 2015 movie thread, but I'll let it slide for now.
That's why I did the Honorable Mentions, not sure if they would be in my top 20 but I felt like mentioning them.
Oh. whoops. I could've sworn this movie was made like a year ago. My bad.
Watching 3 Days to Kill right now...

Yea I didn't expect much from it. If you want to see a good Kevin Costner movie where he is a sort of badass, then watch Open Range.
It's alright. You think you could post it on the 2015 thread if it ain't a hassle?
Ok

Not all of those I would exactly call good movies, but hey each to their own right?
An excellent drama that really dives into the subject matters of abuse and neglect.
I've heard of this movie! Is it a short film though because on RT it says it's 21 min.
No. It's actually about an hour and a half long.
Oh ok. I guess it was just a typo then. I'm gonna see it!
Awesome. It's a great film.
Wait. This was actually adapted from a short film of the same name. That's what you must have seen.

Saw Ant-Man last weekend and I loved it. Was a very enjoyable film, hope to see it again soon.
Oh. I see. But the one you showed me is a legit movie right?
Wow, The Maker was actually really good! It's a bit sad though. What does it mean exactly?
Also, the violin soundtrack was cool.

Sharknado 3 is starting! Why am I watching it, I don't know! But I am..xD
...
Yes.
JURASSIC PARK 5 (Or Jurassic World 2) CONFIRMED-
Am I the only one who doesn't want to see Dinos on the mainland for the whole movie like other people want?
