Backing Out When Sitting in the Chair?

Quick question: Anyone know what happens when you accept to rule Hyperion and then back out when Rhys sits in Jack's chair?

Do you still get the scary outcome as rejecting the offer?

Do you still get the scary outcome as rejecting the offer?

You'll get even scarier version of it. Kinda like that on top of the caravan if you trusted him in ep2 but decided to reject his offer in ep3.

  • He takes over your brain and says he'll strangle Fiona using your body.

  • If you accept ruling Hyperion and then right-click away from the chair it sends you to the "you're an asshole" dialogue choices of rejecting Hyperion.

If you grab the override port and then fail the QTE to put it in, Rhys gets nervous and lets go of it, but Jack grabs it and puts it in himself. Then you get Jack threatening Fiona and the rest of the rejection ending. It's much scarier because Rhys is with him almost all the way and doesn't do anything bad to Jack, but in the last moment Jack reveals what a manipulative asshole he was. It seems more revealing of how evil his character is than the two normal endings.

  • Thanks for the replies guys! :)

  • It is actually scarier. Here is a video of it
