Can the Vault of the Traveler be used as an escape route?
Think about it. Jack is in control of Helios now. That means it's time to get the fuck out of Helios.
Gortys can summon the teleporting Vault now that she has her beacon. Maybe she can summon the vault so our heroes can board it, then she releases it from it's summons?
It's risky, but better than living in Jackland.

That is an interesting theory. I always assumed that the vault would have to be on land, but eridian power could definitely keep in floating... However, I'm pretty sure that, in present day, Rhys and Fiona haven't actually made it to the vault, yet.
