Claptrap has made his appearance in TFTB
I dont have a screenshot of it so if someone gets one that would be great, but at the scene when your just entering the room under jacks trap door, you can see a claptrap.

Yeah, it was in episode 2 of Atlas Mugged. There was a bill board or something of the sort advertising CL4P-TP's, and it said something like, "Active: 1".
