I just want to throw this out, but Wellington is a real place in Michigan, it has a small population of little over 300, and seems to be rea… morelly in the sticks, here's the Wikipedia page, maybe it really is a safe place?

I know, so maybe its not a bad place? Maybe its not a myth, one can hope but if I am going to go on just facts, then it gets extremely cold, there are very few people around, there are forests everywhere, its hard to find, plenty of land, and access to water.
Great find man. It could be a safe place considering its location close to water so it could tell us that they have docks there which have boats (wink). But on the other hand, it could get overcrowded there considering its size.

Wellington is an incredibly dumb idea.
Why on Earth would you want to go somewhere where it's cold and snows all the time when food is sc… morearce? Wouldn't you rather go somewhere with good growing conditions and where you could see for miles because it's pancake-flat in all directions? I'm thinking maybe Nebraska or Kansas. Yeah, okay, sure, you have to deal with zombies. In Wellington, you have to deal with starvation and freezing conditions, and the zombies will probably show up anyway. Not a good trade.
Maybe I've just been playing too much Dwarf Fortress, but if your choices are between a lot of enemies that you can just keep out with thick-enough walls, and winter, which is an enemy you can't keep out unless you can magically grow things underground, I'll take the walking enemies.
Then again, since this is TWD, they'd probably be hit by a walkernado or something.

It's probably a forlorn hope. But it's still hope nonetheless.
Also, I have my doubts that Wellington is the city in the image. Cities tend to have high walker populations, if Atlanta and Savannah are anything to go by. Also, the abundance of dark corners and one-way exits mean that even a fairly small compound like a skyscraper would likely be difficult to defend and impossible to escape if the shit hits the fan. My guess is that the city in the distance is Detroit, Flint, Lansing or something like that.
The only smart thing about going to Wellington is that the cold weather would slow the walkers down. Other than that, I don't see how this could possibly end well for the remaining survivors (after Episode 3 and 4). They'd all need warm clothing, abundant supplies so that they wouldn't have to travel out in the cold and snow to scavenge houses that may or may not be bare, and a reliable shelter.
The only positive thing I could see happening is that Wellington was abandoned for some reason and Clem and the remaining survivors decide to start the camp up again. I just wouldn't know how they would spread the word about it, if they did. Would radios still work and everything?
I guess Wellington is somewhat of an El Dorado to the folks down south. Kenny makes it sound like everything there is sunshine and rainbows.… more But what if Nick was right? It could be way too good to be true. Remember that Kenny said it snowed all the time, slowing the walkers down.
Maybe, but we can't say for sure yet. It might turn out to be another settlement similar to Carver's.
Well I bet there's a place called Wellington in the north, but what if it's nothing? What if it's a ghost town? What if it's this location right here:
If that was Wellington, I think it would at least have some people in it. Remember when Matthew said a lot of people were headed north? Kenny and Christa even planned to go there, which kinda rules out the possibility of it being a ghost town.

Wow
pretty small place

It is a city, and at first everyone expected Atlanta to be safe but it wasn't

lol walkernado
I don't know. Those details involving the geography seem pretty damn important. Mainly the huge gap with the land to water ratio.
Good point.

What if it's overrun with zombies? Maybe everyone who goes there either dies or flees the area.
Damn. I've been in a ghost town...people aren't nice and if you stay there too long you lose your dreams...not nice places to be.
Its probably the same person who cuts all the grass that plowed the streets lol
And those groups weren't a bunch of assholes, because then Matthew wouldn't let them cross xD
Some good groups out there still.
Maybe, considering that there's a corpse along the road could mean that its abandoned
I hope the game ends with a happy ending, but it's the walking dead we're talking about, so I don't think it's likely. xD
