I REALLY liked what you just said. You're not weird at all @Azlyn. You're a person who has empathy and real emotions and after reading your message (twice) i'm sure a lot of fans feel the same way you do. The Clem fans here are all in it together.

I can relate. I was walking past this small cemetery yesterday, and I was looking at some names on the headstones. Near the end of the first row was this small, black granite one that read Clem. I just froze. I had some thoughts on what might happen at the end of the season, and I'm not ready for her to get put in the ground. I don't think I can take it. From looking at the episode screens, I was already worried; and now I can't shake this deep, foreboding feeling that death is looming over her.

Considering how 80% of what i think throughout the day for the past 4 months has been Clementine and TWD I think her death would cause me so

  • Thanks, Clem! :3

  • Well, thank you for reading it, then!

That was beautiful and spot on how i would feel. i wouldn't leave ethier this place is to cool and filled with awesome people

  • You would all leave the game entirely if she died? Ha! See ya in Season 3!

Oh of course, I'd be absolutely heart broken. But this is probably one of my favourite gaming franchises ever, so I could never leave it. Also I believe that a lot of people are talking BS. Sure they say they will be done with the series, but everyone knows they will be buying that season 3 season pass when it comes out.

I just can't picture you as anyone else but Rebecca, and read your comments in her voice...

  • I would be annoyed if she died no doubt about it, and if there was going to be a Season Three without her I wouldn't even be remotely as excited for it as I am this season. The whole reason I'm so excited for this Season was to see how Clementine's character would grow after the training Lee gave her. You put too much effort into protecting her the entire first Season (including sacrificing yourself, pretty much) so I'd be a bit annoyed if all that effort was put to nothing if she were to die in a cheap way of sorts.

I was able to get over Lee's death, his death was powerful and the purpose of his character was to redeem himself by protecting her. Which he managed to do, brilliantly.

But no, I wouldn't leave the community. Heck I was part of this community back when The Walking Dead wasn't even part of Telltale's radar.

Yeah, I can see a few people doing that. (That girl is loved dearly) but do you honestly think all these people will do that. A lot of them won't. But whatever, if TT kill her, they're absolute idiots. We all love her too much. I dread to think what these forums would be like if Clem is killed.

  • Ya couldn't kill off such an adorable girl. I mean, look at this face!

  • Not for me,dude. I've been with TellTale since their Sam and Max days, and I'll be with them until the very end.

Speaking of Sam and Max,I like to show that game to my friends, and be like, "See this? See this HILARIOUS game? Wanna see what they make now?" And then we have this TWD marathon. The point is,TellTale has had a MAJOR tone shift with these newer games.

I have the season pass so chances are I would finish playing it also. But as you said I wouldn't waste my time on the forum, and chances are it would be the last telltale game I'd buy/play.

  • I wouldn't leave the game. I trust TellTale.

And I also think they wouldn't do many seasons for the walking dead: 3, max 4. If she's going to die, she'll remain in our hearts just like Lee.

  • No..... well maybe.I doubt i would, if they done it with kenny it would be disappointing and completely pointless to bring him back then slaughter him. Clem, again depends on how it's done, if they do another Lee (have her get bit by the most obvious of hidden walkers and then needs her arm lopped off) then yes, if they kill her of in an original emotional way then no i wouldn't stop playing because it would be good writing. We can't expect anyone to last forever in the apocalypse, no one is guaranteed to live from one moment to another.

  • Yes. Lilly, to me, is one of those characters that can't explicitly die - like Michonne from the TV series.

  • This is the Walking Dead and none of these characters are immortal, especially Lilly.

  • Well it appears Kenny is, doesn't it? After all, he was stuck down an alley way with a swarm of walkers!

No. Everyone has to die eventually; even my sweet little psychopathic Clem. That's the cold, hard truth.
I'd be sad, yes, but I wouldn't leave...at least not until I get revenge on the person that killed her. And by revenge I mean torture. Extreme torture.

  • If not kill her (I hope not), they should at least make her go off screen or something. I wouldn't take it if she died

  • Shut up okay. We get it, you don't like Kenny, stop annoying everyone spouting your shit. We love Kenny, so let us love Kenny. Kay?

  • I'd be sad if she died, but more disappointed. She's the one character I think should survive for years to come, at least until adulthood. Telltale killing her off this season would be pushing the 'dark and depressing, everyone dies' theme of TWD too far.
I wouldn't stop playing, but I'd definitely lose hope for anything good in the series.

  • I like the new tone. I like emotional games. When a game can get me literally invested in the welfare of the characters they have succeeded, and they have me by the balls. Comedic games are alright, but I have little reason to remember them.

  • It would have to be death in SUCH AN EPIC WAY that I cannot imagine it now...

  • I agree. Killing her off could backfire and alienate a lot of fans. In the end, I can see more fans staying than leaving but the experience of the game would never be the same.

He has the power of the stache' that's different.

Seriously though it's not so unbelievable, Remember when Lee found that manhole cover out of sheer luck (it was just after we met Molly). In my playthrough Kenny "died" from saving Christa by jumping down into a building, again it's not so unbelievable that he survived, we don't know how many walkers were down there, maybe only 2 or 3 which he managed to take out with a object he found down there or maybe he just ran past them and found a fire escape or something, you don't exactly need to be an Olympic athlete to outrun a couple of walkers.

killing off clem would be pointless imo. I would probably still follow up on this series, but im not sure if id like a season 3 with clem dead.

  • Lori, I like Lilly, why don't you get over that?

  • I wouldn't leave it. I mean it would get me depressed for a looonngg time but still I wouldn't leave this amazing series.

  • Depends on how she dies. Shes a little girl and it would be sad to watch her die (well the trolls who post 28 ways to kill will enjoy) I honestly hope they don't kill her off but I want to play as someone else in season 3.

  • I won't stop playing but I won't be that excited anymore...
